nobody knows if the mith is real.the mith was invented by platon(he is the only one who wrote abt. it),so nobody knows if it was,or were it was.the mith says that atlantis sunk like 12 000 years ago,and the atlantid civilisation was the most ample and smart civilisation in that time.some scientists believe the mith cuz platon wrote only true facts.
and they found alot of posible locations all over the earth.

I believe that Atlantis was a real place. but it wasn't run by humans, it was run by something smarter (aliens perhaps) and yes it did have better technology but for some reason or another it decided to leave this place. Maybe to not hinder human evolution.

it's a myth that Atlantis was a very prosperous city, they developed technology beyond human comprehension and that when they refused to par homage to Poseidon, the god of the sea, he(Poseidon) created a huge wave that caused Atlantis to sink to the bottom of the ocean

I have a friend who worked as a videographer on an expedition to find Atlantis. He believes with all his might that they found it and he was there. I don't have any proof, but I have his word.

Oceans cover 7/10ths of our planet and it's only very recently that we have started to properly explore them - we actually know more about the surface of the moon than we do about the ocean floors! So it's possible there's a whole sunken city down there... just waiting to be explored.

I believe that there have been many civilizations, before us, I think that as time progresses, and new discoveries are made, evidence for earlier cultures than ours will surface. Anasasi, Toltec, Atlantians, probably many earlier than those. time will tell, or we will kill ouselves off or be devistated by some natural catastrophe, and be just another former civilization...

that it does, doen't exist. that it's in the mediterranean basin, that it's in the mid-atlantic. that it has begun to rise, that it's never going to rise.
