I don't have a cat, yard is fenced. It probably flew into the glass door, hurt itself and died. BUT, i can't help thinking of all those superstitions. Please tell me how ridiculous they are. Kinda nervous about it.

I know there are Chinese schools for kids whose parents want them to get a formal Chinese education in the US. But, can adults attend special sessions of these? Or is there such a thing as a Chinese community center, with lessons for adults?

Honestly these are serious questions; please don't think this is another basher's prank question.
Male or female -- do you think there was a "cause" that made you gay? Such as, family or home situation in your early years... an incident or abuse... or do you feel you were born that way?
Do you feel it's possible to change to heterosexual - not by pressure but by choice? Or is the tendency/preference to be gay a permanent thing?
Since I'm asking such personal questions I should explain that I was with a wonderful guy for several years, when he suddenly confessed that he was gay. I'm broken hearted about it because we still love each other so much... I've been kidding myself that (1) if he loved me enough he'd WANT to be straight & (2) if I were a little sexier/prettier/hotter, etc., he'd change.
It isn't fair to feel that way... but I do love him regardless. I'd just like to understand more and don't want to ask him because he might think I'm asking him to "convert."

Specifically, the issue around whether we are living in a Universe that is 6,000 years old (Bible opinion, I think) or one that is between 13 - 18 billion years old.
Can I believe in what the bible says and in Darwin's theory of evolution well? And, are they compatible with one another?

Why does it really matter what race we seriously? Why is it so important what difference would it make, why are there minorities, why,why why are we labling people as minorities, they're all just people, people just look different and have a different skin color thats it, it's not like a white person can't have kids with a black person, this is getting out of hand i think some one should speak up to the goverment and put an end to asking what race are we, theres no point to it really.

As soon as I met her to do some chores, I knew something was amiss about her, like she was sad, depressed or bitter, and very private as to her not wanting anyone to know that she was a nun or anything.

She left the church, and is never happy? Could this be a cross from God that she left as she was once married to the Lord?

I don't understand the mindset of people who want to belong to a church that finds them wrong. Why don't you start a new church or join one that doesn't interpret the bible in such a way that you are excluded?
