But seriously, since the word holds no meaning for them, why shouldn't they?
It's the Christians that shouldn't be talking like that, because for them the words have a sacreligious meaning.
Myself, being Asatru, I'd be more likely to say "Hel no", since she is the true origin of the word. Her name was stolen and what she is was twisted by the Christians when they infiltrated Northern Europe.

I'm not an athiest, but i don't believe in the concept of Hell and stuff, but i say hell yeah, god damn, damn it, Jesus and for God's sake!.
They're phrases just ingrained into us.
