i know what you're going through...happens to me all the time because i don't have many christian friends.
first, you have to understand, that god may decide not to save your friend, so unless you've recieved some special message, don't believe she wil be saved before it happens. second, you have to understand that she will not be saved through your power or wisdom alone; pray like crazy.
i'm not sure what your friend's difficulties are, but i usually emphasize to my friend that worldy things will not satisfy, no matter how much you go at them. only god's love for you can satisfy. 1 cor 13 is a beautiful narration of love.

Yeah, cuz hitting her over the head with what YOU believe is going to make her feel soooo much better. That's being a great friend! Nevermind simply ENCOURAGING her, let's make our friendship conditional and start bringing god into it.
Go right ahead. She'll resent you, turn away from you, and probably be better off.

As long as you are certain that your friend will not mind your source and/or any hidden agenda, then I'm sure you'll find some words of WISDOM and advice in the Book of Proverbs...
Peace be with you.

If her life is a mess and she isn't a christian...take her to a good therapist so she can deal with reality.

How gloriously arrogant you are. Let's try this. Say nothing at all to her. Just be her freaking friend. If she sees something in you that she wants to emulate, and she asks you about it, tell her nothing more than, "I believe Jesus gives me strength." No quoting scripture. If she asks you to explain, THEN you can talk scripture.
But when it comes to witnessing, if you have to open your mouth, you've already failed.

Why not just be a friend and listen to HER instead of trying to shove your religion down her throat?
