ok. so the background:
About 3 years ago me, my sister, and a neighbor started a charity called first star. We have been on the news a few times and gained tremendous support. It really showed me that you can make a difference, expecially since i was only a 12 year old girl at the time. (my sister and neighbor were only 10) now they are 13 and i am 15. Our work has been slowly diminishing for the past few months, and im looking for ideas on how to gain new members and more support. We are trying to hold weekly meetings, but with only 5 or so members, its been hard.
With only 4 members, in one summer alone we had made nearly 3000 dollars, (to buy a handicap bike) and recieved donations of stuffed animals for all over the country to bring to children at local hospitals and rehab centers.

Any advice on how to get this off the ground again?

I'm 12 and live around a very diverse group of people that speak many dif. languages. I think it's starting to mess me up. Whenever I read or speak without really thinking about how I'm saying something, the words come out funny. I'm from NY and we say words dif. from others, and on top of that my parents are from trinidad & tobago (kinda like jamica). Also sometimes i goto virginia. oh, and I'm learning spanish & korean. So what I'm saying is; when I talk some of the words come out with "jamican" accent or a Really southern one or a spanish one (I don't know how), oh and a ny one. I know I'm not dsylexic, i go to a "gifted ppl" school. Do u think it'll EVER go away!?

(Mine has the bear minimun in decor, we do not hang pictures and obviously everything is clean and everything in its place. We only have one picture in the dinning room with the 99 names of Allah written in Gold, I think that reflects me, as well as my beliefs in a sense: simple, structured and clean)

I am readin a study on the dead sea scrolls, by two amercans. My son will be 11 and a half months at Christmas, his first christmas ever, and I want to get him a santa suit to wear for Christmas but I can't find a really good one with a hat and at least a print-on of boots and a belt, and has the fur trim. Any help please! I could use some advice!!

the Christains I spoke to told me that because he took his own life, he would burn for eternity in punishment for throwing away god's gift.
But I don't understand why a loving god would make life so horrible for any of his creatures in the first place.
PS before you answer note that both he and I are devout pagan, and that I loved him like a brother. I just want to know why a "good Christian" would tell me such things by way of comfort.

My point here is that some religious homophobes insist on entering this area to tell us that we are going to hell and that God would never create unclean souls like ours.

So, correct me if I'm wrong but that would mean that the gays, drug users, promiscuous people etc are created by the devil and so in the afterlife we will go to hell.

So if we are doomed to spend eternity with fellow gays, drug users and promiscuous folk, why do these homophobes think this would bother us!!!

Frankly I'm looking forward to my afterlife damnation, it sounds like one HELL of a party!!!
