At my tender age of 61 I have seen and heard only of a very tiny, VERY tiny, few who I can honestly say are without sin(?) or in God's grace. In fact, I would be hard pressed to count them all on my two hands. These are the ones who make the news folks.
So by that observation alone I would guess that hell is going to be a very crowded place. I also believe God does know everything and He (She,It) gave us free will. Therefore He did not damn us at birth but rather gave us gifts of all sorts and He (She, It) sits back to see how we live our lives. Just because we are GLBT or drug user and a whole host of other things does not mean God is going to send us straight to hell in a hat basket.
God, or whatever you believe in, created us and then watches his creations. The dinosaurs weren't damned they just had the misfortune to be under a falling rock but some do believe that God got tired of them and wiped them off the map. If that is true then we all will get zapped and we won't be sent to a hell born out of a person's mind.

sure. that is said as Divine Laziness, and Ignorant layout. Ignorant layout comes into it even as people answer a thoroughly diverse question to what replaced into requested, or pick to rant fairly of answering. a astonishing party I once had replaced right into a reduce'n'paste that filled the web page, yet did not answer the question in any respect. i have also had some those who thoroughly forget concerning the question itself, and purely say stuff like 'I agree'. ok, you compromise. honest sufficient, now might want to you want to inform me your answer at any time? Divine Laziness is the different tremendous non secular reason behind not interpreting. It takes the kind of a question format (i am going to thieve your party): Q: Why do not Xs ever look to tolerate Ys? QD: i do not in my opinion imagine there is many Xs who dislike Ys, that is only a small minority who have a tendency to be extremely rude and disgusting of their attitudes. A case of the noisiest few, with the objective to speak. what's your opinion in this? A: we are not ALL like that!!! give up being so judgemental!! ummmm.....study IT next TIME!!!! lol. ((((hugs))))

Actually they Don't even think about what they are saying.
They talk about God being Omniscient, knowing all, past, present, and future. If this is true, it is therefore known from the moment of our existence begins whether or not we will actually conform to his laws and serve him. If that is true, it means that there ARE souls born every day that will NOT serve and are, by their definitions, doomed before they even breathe their first breath.
That isn't the act of a Just being.
If he does NOT know our ultimate fate, whether or not we will serve, then They LIE about their "God" and it is doubtful if he even exists, or even if he does, he is not a "god" at all.
Either way, that is not a Being in which I would believe in or serve.

I was raised that being gay is a sin but I feel that it is equally bad as every other sin and I don't think that god hates gay people I also don't think that I should judge anyone because I'm not god and my beliefs don't mean I wont have gay friends it just means I don't believe in being gay

If you are really a Christian you would not condemn others their lifestyle. It is like the Babtists always bad mouthing those who drink, so I guess those of who are Catholic and Irish will go to Hell. When they talk about wine in the Bible, do the Babtists take this to mean grape juice. You just need to take care of your own life, don't worry about what you neighbor is doing.

Religious people believe in the absolute truth of the bible. When the bible says certain others are going to hell, the said religious people believe it. And condemn the others.
Plato said: "The good life consists in three things; the golden rule; everything in moderation; accepting no truth unless proven.
live a good life and don't hurt others, that's what's important.

Same old reason: it makes them feel superior. The ones who claim they have nothing against gay people, and then go on to ask questions that are premised on very negative assumptions and stereotypes are just as bad. A lot of them know better, and are simply trying to get a rise out of people. Why? It makes them feel powerful if they believe they've disturbed people.

For those who say it's not people who damn gays it's god condemning them. That is just a scape goat so you don't have to take personal responsiblity for the words you say. Doesn't your god speak through you? Take responsibility for your own actions for once.

There is no hell. If there were, it is ignorant to believe that a God would condemn a person for the way they are born. They have to make themselves believe it to be a choice to justify the lies they see in the bible.

Thanks for saying 'some' relgious people, because there are many, many denominations who believe that God does create and bless LGBT people just as they are! Unfortunatly, this is the crux of the disagreement, the others believe that we are not created Gay or Lesbian but instead choose a life where we can suffer great abuse at their hands. Metropolitan Community Churches are full of productive, loving, gay people of faith.
