I am planning on making my second attempt at studying the Bible. I became discouraged when I tried doing this the first time a few years ago. I was using Tim LaHaye's book, "How To Study the Bible For Yourself".

I know some people have a problem with Mr. LaHaye to one degree or another, but as someone used to tell me, "Don't throw the baby out with the bath water." And I *have* benefitted from Mr. LaHaye's book. In his chapter on studying the Bible by books, he suggests starting with the epistles because of the fact that they are smaller books, and I guess that is the right way to go if one is a beginner at Bible study.

To be continued.

friend of mine sayin that another friend of mine was kicked out of his place because he was caught using drugs. This friend of mine is 20 years old and we both love each other as friends. He went to San Fran and came back all junkie. So I live home in a hurry to go n see him. He was lying naked on the street completely high. I put him into my car and he starts crying on my shoulder, sayin his daddy screwed him up, his mother is in India right now and he's all by himself. I decided to take him to the nearest hospital or police station but he goes nuts. Tryin to calm him down, I cross a red light. He gets in jail. My car gets impounded. Now, my friend is in a psychiatric hospital and last days have been awful. I'm feeling self-destructive. I had sex with a guy without condom. Things are not going well with me. I`ll have to appear in court in a few weeks, and my birthday is on November 20th...I don't wanna phone Sergey because he has nothing to do with me anymore. But I feel awful. HELP!

I was on my way to Uni this morning and I was at Liverpool Street station - I was gonna be late so I was rushing, but stopped dead in my tracks because I saw a large suitcase left unattended in the middle of the walkway between 2 platforms....

I looked around to see if it was someone's nearby but no one was claiming it - another guy noticed before me and I saw him tell one of the station staff...

Ok so what shocked me was the fact that NO-ONE else seemed to notice. I mean people were rushing but not one gave a second look to a very large suitcase placed in the centre of a walkway! I couldn't believe it - it may have been nothing but then again it could have been EVERYTHING!

I was contemplating heading the other way and getting as far away as possible - but then I saw a guy coming from the other end of the platform and he just wheeled it away...my heart was beating SO fast - then I remembered why I didn't like travelling on the tube again but I guess ive got no choice..

Why do people say it's a test of their faith when their pastor, bishop, clergyman, priest or someone of a political statue fall from grace per say or admit to being gay a child molestor, murderer or what have you. How is it a direct test of the people around them if you had nothing to do with the act then see it as that person screwed up, you didn't just because you believed in them. Just a thought.....

I work retail and to us the day after Thanksgiving is just about the most busiest workday of the year.

It seems to me that if this is the case and people know full well that the malls, stores etc. are going to be packed with people and they'll be waiting in long lines to pay and not to mention the parking. . . . it goes on-and-on. WHY OH WHY don't they stay home and just relax on their day off? (IF they have the day off) Who really wants to bother with the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping at it's worse?

Are YOU one of these people who "fight the crowds" to shop on the day after Thanksgiving?

My employee swears that another woman did some kind of magic spell on her to make her hair grow faster. No joke. This is no weave or extension of no kind. Completely natural. It's wierd.

If so, does anyone knows of a website where I can see one? Why he is not listed in none of the Christian'´s bibles for he was certainly an apostle as the others were. Jesus is listed everywhere in the Koran.
