Evil is darkness where light should be,
Evil is ignorance where wisdom will be.
When a lesson is learned
and a knowledge is gained
There is only goodness
No evil remains

Evil is the outcome of breaking the law. Evil is therefore created as a result of doing what may be offending the Creator and causing inharmonious relation of the natural order of the creation. The Creator and the creation go together in the Universe. The Creator is not a Creator without the creation, and creation does not exist without the Creator. Although God in this respect did not create evil, but evil is created when any entity created by God corrupts the proper order of the Law of any part or segment of the Universe. A simple example or an analogy may be described in the concept of an aeroplane crash; if the aeroplane does not follow the natural laws of aerodynamics and gravity, it will crash. The crash was not caused by God but by the improper adherence to the law.

What is evil? How is it "created?" Does evil exist? The university professor challenged his students with this question. Did God create everything that exists?

A student bravely replied, "Yes, He did!"
"God created everything?" the professor asked.
"Yes, Sir," the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then He created evil. Evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil."

The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor was quite pleased with himself and boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said, "May I ask you a question, professor?"
"Of course," replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Does cold exist?"

"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" remarked the professor.
The young man replied, "In fact, sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics what we consider 'cold' is in reality the absence of heat. Everyone or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter transmit energy. Absolute zero, -460 F, is the total absence of heat: all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."

The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does!"
The studen replied, "Once again you are wrong, sir; darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. A single ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is not light present."

Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course. As I have already said, we see it
every day. It is in the daily examples of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."
To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love that exists just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."
The professor sat down.

The Mystery Schools called evil the Scavenger of the gods.
It is a force that comes behind Creation and cleans it up.
Sometimes I feel the Lake of Fire is a cosmic recycler of
sorts.
At our level, it is a matter of Free will. We have the ability to chose what we want to do. One needs to take control over
their spirit and become part of the creative aspect. Or lose
control and become part of the destructive. That of course
resulting in the destruction of the self.
The word EVIL is the word LIVE spelled backward. It is anything that keeps us from living and enjoying LIFE!

Nothing or nobody created evil, it has just always been there. As it says in the scriptures if there were no evil, there would be no good.

Evil has not been created, nor can it be; it is the symbol for our becoming afraid, and falling into sleep, and dreaming we are separate from God, and one another, and even ourselves.

Moreover, evil symbolizes the opposite of God...and God has no opposite. Therefore, evil does not exist. Nothing unreal exists.

Evil wasn't created. Evil isn't a think of its own, it is the absense of good. The same way that cold isn't a think of its own, but it's the absense of heat, and darkness isn't a thing of its own, but it's the absense of light.

Take, for example, murder. A soldier who kills or an executioner that kills doesn't commit murder as long as they do so honorably. Murder is then not defined by the abundance of killing, but by the absense of honorable intensions.

Also consider adultary: again, it's not the abundance of sex that is the problem, it's the lack of marriage.

What about idolatry: not the abundance of worship, but the lack of discernment is the problem.
