friend of mine sayin that another friend of mine was kicked out of his place because he was caught using drugs. This friend of mine is 20 years old and we both love each other as friends. He went to San Fran and came back all junkie. So I live home in a hurry to go n see him. He was lying naked on the street completely high. I put him into my car and he starts crying on my shoulder, sayin his daddy screwed him up, his mother is in India right now and he's all by himself. I decided to take him to the nearest hospital or police station but he goes nuts. Tryin to calm him down, I cross a red light. He gets in jail. My car gets impounded. Now, my friend is in a psychiatric hospital and last days have been awful. I'm feeling self-destructive. I had sex with a guy without condom. Things are not going well with me. I`ll have to appear in court in a few weeks, and my birthday is on November 20th...I don't wanna phone Sergey because he has nothing to do with me anymore. But I feel awful. HELP!

Feeling self-destructive is not healthy. You should contact a crisis counselor about your problems. If your friend is that involved with drugs then going in to medical treatment is the best thing for him even though you may think you are responsible. A true friend would not let another hurt themselves by becoming so involved in a drug or drugs that leave you nude on a public street. As for having sex without a condom...these days that's not a smart thing to do, especially if it is with someone involved in heavy drug use. Who knows who this person has also had sex with. Some diseases take a long time to start showing and some sexually transmitted diseases are difficult to cure if not permantly damaging, life threatening, or just plain deadly! If Sergey blames you for his own mistake of getting high and then getting caught...he's not the friend he made himself out to be in the first place. You are young and have a million single guys to take his place...go for it...or in other words....get rid of the zero and be with a hero!

Woah there neighbor. Take it slowly. One thing at a time.

First deal with yourself. Get an AIDS test. Don't have unprotected sex with anyone else till the result comes back as negative.

Then the court appearance. Tell the truth. If it's your first offense and you have a halfway decent lawyer they will hopefully be able to get leniency.

Your ex is straight but he is your bf? Then he is fooling himself. You must have another friend to talk to? Go talk to them and have a damn good cry. You need people who like you around you.

You friend from San Fran needs help yes, but you won't be able to help him without straightening yourself out first (excuse the pun) and don't get so involved in his problems that you can't get yourself out. You are his friend but you mustn't become a casualty of his problems yourself.

I send you a big mental hug. Now go and find a friend (I suggest female so there is no sexual attraction for you messing it up) and cry on their shoulder.

Best of luck.

Go to court do whatever they say then live your life and do what you can for your friends, listen to them and help them out. And realize that the choices they make they have to live with. You did not make those choices for him. If you are worried about not using a condom, go to a doctor and get checked out. And then enjoy your life.
