You are with your dream girl/guy on a first date. FIRST DATE. It's like a dream come true for you!!! So you we're trying to make a good impression. Hmm. Here's the catch. The two of you are alone in the car. The windows are rolled up. And you accidentally FARTED. And it smells like ****. Remember, there's just the two of you... and well, there's no other person to blame... lol. So what do you do??? hm... do you say "what's that smell?" or "excuse me. i farted. let's roll down the windows?" or do you just keep quiet... I REALLY WANNA KNOW!

I think there is a lot of relevancy to the fact that Christianity is the wolrld's largest religion. I think this is due to Divine Providence. Take into consideration the following:

-- praising God, and enjoying the good will of all the people. And every day the Lord added to their group those who wer being saved. (ACTS 2:47)
Jesus Christ only lived 33 years, never went more than 30 miles from his home, never wrote a book, never was on tv, never made a cd or any multimedia source and YET

-- Jesus Christ has influenced the world more than any person;

-- Jesus Christ's existence separates history (ac or bc);

-- Jesus Christ has more books written about him than any person in history;

-- Jesus Christ is the Ruler of the largest religion in the world;

-- Jesus Christ had 11 apostles and numerous martyrs die excruciating deaths believing in the Messiah, the Son of God;

-- Jesus Christ fulfilled 300+ prophesies

Colorism meaning prejudice from other blacks because of your shade. Sometimes high yalla blacks have elitist prejudice towards dark-skinned blacks, and sometimes dark-skinned blacks act the same towards them. I think it's really really sad. And what's with the high yalla bias in beauty pageants, you know, if it were a contest between a beautiful dark-skinned girl and a mediocre light-skinned girl, the light skinned girl wins. Grow up!

...beliefs????

It's only fair. If we 'unofficially' recognize one religion through our laws, then we should recognize them all.

It just seems that everyone freaks out if they are seen and no one is comfortable enough in their own skin to even walk around their own house nude.

Is this strange or is it just me?

I happen not to have a single decent pair of socks available in my closet. For some reason they are "worn" ... what's the word.... stretched? loose... they look silly when using shorts.

The question is, why do they spoil so quickly.. I think I use them once and they are done. I'm the only one in my family with this "problem" ...

any ideas? is it the way I put them on, take them off? Does this happen often to you, tips? cookies, hugs?

Most of us would, I think, agree that if creatures such as the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot ought to leave behind empirical evidence by which we might discover their existence. If no such evidence (or at least, no such convincing evidence) exists, one can reasonably conclude that the creatures themselves do not exist.

What about God? Although there is little or no satisfactory evidence for a Creator's existence (such evidence as would satisfy atheists, I mean), should we also assume that a Creator does not exist? In other words, does an absence of evidence constitute evidence of absence?

Or could God create a universe and leave no evidence of himself of it (perhaps deliberately? Another question...)? Leaving room, at least, for the possibility of a divine being?

I'm agnostic myself, in case anybody assumes that I'm trying to bash one "side" or the other. I suppose this question is directed mostly at atheists, but I'm looking for questions from all sides.

We have a lot of our own people struggling to get a proper Education. Our own people who are Homeless, Unemployed. And badly in need of Help. And Welfare costs us money in taxes.

Countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and the Emirates are not at at all backward, as most people think they are. They have modern Universities, hospitals, Industry and Opportunities for their own as well as their neighbours.

The only thing they don't have is Welfare. Because they don't believe in it.

They import Indian labor! While their people come here and live off our Welfare!? And build their ghettoes and cause us unnecessary problems.

They did this in England and are now flooding the US of A.

Why do we need to put up with up with it? Why not discourage them and help our own who need all the help they can get?

And, please spare me the "melting pot" and "how native are you".

And I'm not talking about American Muslims who don't take Welfare either.

Alright so, assuming abortion is immoral (though according to the bible, it isn't: http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/says_about/abortion.html )
then, do abortion doctors go to hell as it says in this piece of fundementalist literature? http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1009/1009_01.asp

This tract seems to make it pretty clear that abortion doctors are condemned to hell, yet, I remain skeptical of this whole deal (being an atheist, I always am a bit skeptical), I always hear that Christians don't go to hell, no matter what they do. So, if a Christian performs an abortion, does s/he go to hell? It seems that chick publications is saying that all abortion doctors go to hell.

So, which one is right, rhetoric A or B?
