I did a cool project when I was your age. Here, this link is sort of similar! I made pink and white bath salts and layered them in a jar and scented them with peppermint essential oils. Coolest gift ever!

I make gifts every year and have been doing it since I was a kid, now I do it with my kids. Check out Joann.com and Michaels.com thay have lots of free project ideas. Or take a trip to your local craft store and look around for something to catch your eye. For the female scented sachets are easy to make and nice to recieve. Make a small pillow shape and when you stuff it add some popourri or some purfume, you can glue silk flowers and ribbons to it for decoration and dont forget the ribbon to hang it in the closet. Christmas ornaments are a good stand by too. you can paint wiooden shapes or the glass bulbs. The craft stores always have lots of tips for these. also search the web. I always search for craft projects and they are pretty easy to find Another site is bhg.com (better homes and gardens)

I had a niece who made pillow cases for all the kids. For the kids, she made cases out of material like cowboys, NASCAR, Disney princesses, etc.
They're easy to make (beginning sewing) and the kids loved them.
