Alright so, assuming abortion is immoral (though according to the bible, it isn't: http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/says_about/abortion.html )
then, do abortion doctors go to hell as it says in this piece of fundementalist literature? http://www.chick.com/reading/tracts/1009/1009_01.asp

This tract seems to make it pretty clear that abortion doctors are condemned to hell, yet, I remain skeptical of this whole deal (being an atheist, I always am a bit skeptical), I always hear that Christians don't go to hell, no matter what they do. So, if a Christian performs an abortion, does s/he go to hell? It seems that chick publications is saying that all abortion doctors go to hell.

So, which one is right, rhetoric A or B?

I love the question and I can predict the answers. You are going to see some people claim that a " true" Christian would never perform an abortion.

Fortunately, abortion is a legal procedure. I see little hope of any court overturning Roe vs. Wade. So, I really couldn't care less what the fanatics believe about any Doctor or worker at a woman's clinic.

Since there is no hell, it is a lie; no one has to worry anyway.

i imagine we'd want to continually provide a chance for toddler to be born. Human and animals alike.. nature have a thanks to regulate them (fairly for animals). i don't have a puppy atm, yet there are a set of stray cats in my complicated that help to regulate the rat inhabitants (and lizard, they often times devour them).

Neither, God is the one and only judge. How do we know that the Christian Dr has or hasn't repented. How do you know the person that got the abortion didn't repent for their actions? I only support abortions when the mother has a tubal pregnancy and its medically necessary. But that doesn't mean I judge people who have had one or thought about doing it. the only guaranteed way of going to straight hell, that you can not repent for is blaspheming the Holy Spirit which basically means you are evil if you manage to do that.I think those groups would be better off offering compassion and redemption instead of judgment. I mean if someone's love can't influence you what can?Remember King David was a murderer..he still received the mercy of God because he repented.

I don't know. I've seen a prisoner on death row convert to Chrisitianity 10 seconds before execution. I wouldn't worry about it if that dude gets in heaven.

A self professed Christian doctor, do does abortions, likely thinks the same way most self professed Christians do, either once saved always saved, or all you have to do is ask for forgiveness before death and you in without sin.

As for going to hell, everyone goes to hell, just as Christ did when he died. Unless you are greater than him. He remained there, unable to do anything, until his resurrection as a spirit being. As for anyone else, including abortion doctors, yes they will take part in the second resurrection of Revelations. Whether it is to everlasting life on Earth or to a declaration of judgment, is up to God and not humans.

How likely is it that this was said by the same type of person who state that everyone who isn't Christian, pure christian and unquestioning in their faith and loving of Jesus an all that jazz, are going to hell because -oh noes- the only way into heaven is through Jesus?

I don't believe that you are an athiest. If you were you would not be peddling this trash and trying to impose your thoughts on the unwitting, like a slight of hand. It is like apologizing to someone that you call a jerk by saying, "I am sorry that you are a jerk" Best you keep your insane trash out of the Q and A. No one but a confirmed moron would believe what you are trying to sell, with your so called Question. You make your own heaven or hell right here on earth. Being a stranger to truth, your rhetoric is an indication of where you will end up.
Lost in space.
If I have said anything that upsets you I apologise from the bottom of my heart, but you did bring the subject up. You are dealing with people who are saying that the're way is the only way and if that isn't hypocritical, what is. The words of Jesus Christ. "Wouldst thou remove a cinder from thy brothers eye, when thou hast a beam in thy own eye and cannot see clearly." If you lact the intellecutal perspecuity to understand those words, the go to church and forget all about learning.
You people are who a calling abortion murder dpn't know the first thing about it, you are merely tape recorder spewing forth what has been inprinted in your weak minds. There was a time when the POPE led his own troops into battle, if war is not immoralk then nothing is immoral. A woman has a right to choose what to do with her own body and no one has the right to say otherwise. To do so would be the same as saying women are child bearing cattle.

i've never heard of a christian doctor who performs abortions. but IF this was to happen, then one thing would be he would have to stop performing abortions. and then if he/she asks for forgiveness he would be forgiven for all of his sins, including being an 'abortionist'

Someone who apologizes to God for what he did and repents ... stops doing what he did that was wrong ... may be forgiven by God.

It all depends on the circumstances, and only God makes that decision, based on what is truly present in the heart of the penitent.

Catholics have the best deal here, because a priest can provide absolute forgiveness for sins in God's name, based on a more lenient standard of contrition.

A firm purpose of amendment is still necessary, though, in both instances.

No more baby killing!

Intentionally abortion is prohibited because it is similar with murdering. The abortion woman and her doctor or her midwife and her husband who agreed the obortion will get big sins accoding to islamic teaching.,except they do that for the sake of the safety life of the related mother.
All persons who involved in an intentionally abortion for murdering the fetus will get sins and they should ask for Allah forgiveness and they vowed to Allah for avoiding the same bad doing. They will go to hell for their eternal life after death if Allah did not forgive them.
