I would die for my wife and children. The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth as a man so He could die for the sins of the world. We are all sinners. He died for us if we would trust in what He done for us. Romans 5: 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5: 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Romans 5: 8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Seriously though...before anyone goes spouting off about who someone would die for, I suggest they read Matthew 26:31-35 and see what subsequently transpired.
