Honestly, I believe it takes more faith to believe in evolution than in creation. The odds that life could be created from a bolt of lightning striking something and creating life...or whatever the latest is...are so incredibly minute that it's impossible. The world in it's design shows again and again very evident fingerprints of a Devine Creator. Truly, there is much more evidence to support the creationist view than the evolustionist view- take, for example, the bombardier beetle, two different chemicals are stored in separate glands at the its rear. Whem mixed, the chemicals explode (it's its self-defense structure, see, it fires a caustic vapour by mixing the chemicals), is it possible for such a creature to simply evolve? Should the two chemicals somehow mix at the wrong time, the bug would explode. Is not this deadal little creature the evidence of an ingenious Creator? Common logic tells us that, where there is a design, there is a designer; common sense tells us, when we see a beautiful design we should feel some ammount of awe and respect for the one who created it. When we look at a beautiful quilt with intricate design and coordinating colors, we see clearly that it has a pattern, that the final product is merely the result of much thinking, selecting of the right colors and proper metarials, and of course hours and hours of labour put in by the one who made it. Naturally, we feel a sort of respect for the seamstress who thought up and made this quilt such a beautiful reality. Likewise, when we look at the beautiful pattern of earth and mankind -the faifully changing seasons, the flight of the bird, the powerful waves of the ocean breaking against the rocks, the suns perfect loction in distance from earth (were it any closer, earth would be too hot, any furhter, it'd be too cold), the bodily systems, the way the humans and plants help each other by exchanging ogygen and carbon dioxide....the list could surely go on for miles, but I think you've gathered the idea.
And not only is there evidence of a genius and faithful Designer, but of a powerful one, too- think of the power of the sun! The earth recieves only an extremely small percentage of the sun's total energy and yet the ammount of sun that one US state recieves would provide sufficient energy for the whole world, and that sun is only one average sized star of billions in our galaxy, and our galaxy is only one of billinions in the universe. Whew!
So, my point is, design is evident in everything we see, and if there is a design, common sense tells us there must be a designER.
"And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:" Hebrews 1:10

I am an atheist and I think the lack of evidence does preclude the belief in a god. Putting a god in as creator answers nothing, it just delays the question.
What created the Universe? God. What created God? God has always been. Well how do you know the Universe hasn't always been?
No evidence to add the step and it only complicates the situation.
I allow room to change my mind on any topic including this one, but there would have to be measurable evidence that was convincing. Right now, there is none and I don't expect any.

Although people think God exist there is no proof. There the Bible but that could be some writings of some random fiction. What about dinosaurs theres skeletons, but, could they be weird formations of sedimentary rock or is it that the Bible doesn't speak the truth. Why is it in Jerusalem that there is no proof that there was a place where Jesus was hung on the cross? Theres just fiction. I'd love to "believe" there is a God and I do, but why is there no real proof?

Do a gooogle on The dragon chronicals, they were really dinosaurs.
Romans 1 says that God has planted evidence of Himself throughout His creation so we are without excuse if we don't believe in His existance.
An architect who knows his field inside out does not have to put his name on his work because he has a unique way about his work [Frank lloyd Wright] that identifies him as the creator.

Well, first, there is no lack of evidence. There is plenty of evidence of God for those who seek him.
That said, apparent lack of evidence of the existence of God does not preclude his existence.
People's disbelief has no affect on God whatsoever.
What the problem is, is that one must have the desire to have faith in order to be given the gift of faith. God rewards a humble heart--i.e., a heart that seeks its creator--with the gift of faith.
For those who scream and cry for evidence, God tends to bar access. Essentially, he waits for people to grow up.

Since we are talking about a divine creator, why would you assume He would work on the same level as man. He is not required or limited to our rules or expectations. He is after all God

If you look at the history of religion you know that God was created by ancient man to explain natural forces that he did not understand. Had ancient man had oi present knowledge of astronomy, geology, and biology there would have been no reason to think up a "God".

We're open for observation, investigation of even the slightest evidence. To be real, we need one of our senses to observe any manifestation....without proof, its just fanciful thinking.
