I have a few korean friends (mixed guys n girls) n they sometimes say oppa and hyung about each other? what do they mean and what is the difference?

also, what is/are the equivalent(s) for girls (since i know these above r 4 guys)?

Some of the questions I've seen in recent days bemoan the fact that some answerers get a little excited, even angry at their questions. But not me. I get really excited when I get an angry response, as it means I've sown a seed of doubt, or maybe just fertilized an existing one. The people who worry me are those who never or rarely ask questions, and who never get emotional in their responses.
I admit that I used to get a little peeved when I got violated for no good reason, but not any more, as it means that somebody considers me to be dangerous. I actually haven't had a violation for some time now, as I try to keep my questions within the guidelines. Maybe the big rodent in the sky actually now reads the questions before issuing the violation.
So, why get uptight about others getting uptight?

I mean, come on... it is one thing to be able to tolerate homosexuality, but for gays to try and force onto people this idea that homosexuality is not immoral is crazy. I am, of course assuming that God exists here. But it is made clear in every main religion that God forbids homosexuality, so I am disgusted every time I hear about gays complaining that their lifestyle is not wrong, but just "different", They have no right to tell God what to do. Why do they consistently try to undermine him? Maybe because they know they are wrong and are looking for a scapegoat... someone to blame?

My step mother and i have never really seen eye to eye, but today was the last straw. OK, first off im gay and 17 years old. Now tonight my stepmother call being gay un-natural, and the my choosen holloween costume flaunted my "gayness" to the entire world. My holloween costume is of a greek gaurd which means a skirt with it, when i bought it i had no entention of flaunting my "gayness", i bought it because i liked the outfit. Why is she so ignorant, and what should i do about it.

Im thinking of just calling our relationship over, but my dad says that will not teach ignorant people a lesson.

Dont those who claim that they dont believe feel the divine work behind everything. How could our brains which are so complex be by chance and the coded informtion in our ADN . What can humans call this force except god knowing that even the technology we thought we invented is nothing but following the rules set by the divine.
