I'm trying to understand Intelligent Design. This is what I understood from it so far:

The universe and everything in it is too complex to have happened by chance. Therefore it must have a designer. This designer is even more complex than the entire universe, but the designer happened by chance. If the designer would need a designer, it would become a neverending story, so we are supposed to stop thinking after the word 'designer'..... Am I right so far?

But aren't these people sinning - worshipping a false idol?

You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

If I pray to Jesus, and then imagine the sparkling white baby JC am I sinning? LOL

can anybody please tell me what the phonetics are for the japanese language. in other words, how to write japanese using any words. like the word table, you would write it as teeburu (te e bu ru) or names like sonc, written as sonikku (so ni kku) if you can give me a website to learn how to do this, that would be great. thanks

Organized religion is the cause of much of the worlds misery. If it were possible to convince people to look for their own personal spiritual truth, and stop depending on corrupt falsehoods the world would be a better place. Spiritual progress and growth need not depend on the unproven and supernatural. Reason should guide ones decisions.

I am a christian and so are many people in my school. Everyone that I know say that they a Chritian, but put someone else down, brake a ten commandment, or cuss like a sailor all the time. They still say they are Christians just because they go to church, and I think that is wrong.

I think that they are the reason people don't want Christ to enter their life. They bring so many people down because they are different and judge those others as not worthy.

Its a movie that supposedly exposes a radical Islam threat against the West. I saw it and felt it was a very one sided report on the israeli-palestinian conflict. It's trying to portray militant Muslims as nazis of the modern era. some parts were disturbing but most of it was popganda. Care to share your thoughts if you did see it? Also, what should be the Muslim response, if any?

Many Christians will say there is proof of Jesus, yet there is nothing. Most are lies created by Christians (Christians think lying for Jesus is okay if it saves souls). Such claims as Josephus, Philos, etc. all written long after Jesus (decades and centuries later) and many proven frauds. Shroud of Turin (proven fraud), Burial Box of Jesus's brother (proven fraud). There isn't even any proof of his family line. Why isn't he in the history books if there is proof (even as a mere man)? Why couldn't he even write his own words? Can anyone prove it by showing the museum site of this so called "real" evidence and what museum it is located in, and not some Christian propaganda site?

i can't understand the so called churches of this world they say there are three persons in the godhead ,well i would like to know who god is according to there doctrine is it the father son or holy ghost?because they state these are three persons,if the english translaters of english words are right then a person must have his own personality if so then he is deity meaning god so do we have three gods in the god head if so who is supreme? also the scriptures state that mary was found with child of the holy spirit but jesus our saviour said god was his father so who was his father had he 2 fathers?that trinity doctrine came out of rome at the nince council of 325ad and it came down to all the protestant churches and they are all believing a lie.let me tell the poeple of the world this there is one person and one god the lord jesus christ is his name he died for us we are saved by the blood of god so if god shed his blood then he must be jesus so where is your three gods now ?

I don't get it...Isn't it the woman's choice? If she chooses to wear it by her own will, why is it bothering others? It's her life. What ever happened to freedom of religion?
