Muslims and Christians haven't gotten along since the beginning why is this? And 245 prophecies were told about the messiah and jesus completed all of them why don't Muslims believe he is the messiah?

Muslims and Christians haven't gotten along since the beginning why is this? And 245 prophecies were told about the messiah, from when he was a baby and a massacre of babies during his birth to his death on the cross and three days later he would rise. jesus completed all prophecies from beginning to end. why do Muslims still believe he is not the messiah?

We believe jesus is the messiah, but we dont believe in christianity coz thats not what we believe jesus believe in, we believe jesus believe in 1 god and not trinity

haha, wow, you have got your facts all wrong lad. let me enlighten you. muslims and christians have gotten along very well since the beginning. let me show you some very clear examples to illustrate my point:
when the islamic religion was first created and muslims were facing severe persecution from polytheists, who did the muslims turn to? the Christian kingdom of abysinia took the muslims in and gave them refuge.
even today, in modern day Palestine, who has the keys to two of the most sacred churches in the christian religion, the church of the nativity and the church of the holy sepulchre? the keys are in fact in the hands of muslims. that is how much the palestinian christians trust the muslims and vice versa.
finally, let us look at this verse from the Quran:
Strongest among men in enmity to the believers wilt thou find the Jews and Pagans; and nearest among them in love to the believers wilt thou find those who say, "We are Christians": because amongst these are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant. (5:82)
if these examples do not show the brotherhood that exists between muslims and christians, i do not know what does...
when muslims and christians do not get along, it is usually political. this is more reflective of today's atmosphere and the tremendous amount of influence the western media weilds over people's lives. also, in the US, since most christians support israel over palestine (instead of taking a neutral perspective or supporting palestinians), this can be a cause of tension. regardless, there are many muslims that grow up in the westa and get along fine with christians. however, you would be right in saying that the muslims and jews have never gotten along.
as for the question about jesus being the messiah-- wrong once again. muslims DO believe that jesus was the messiah that had been prophecised to the jews over and over again. what they believe, however, is that his messianic message was altered and corrupted over time, so the islamic religion had to come along to rectify the alterations made to the christian religion. hope this helps and open your mind.

Actually Allah (swt) didn't descend and take Jesus (pbuh) before his death on the cross. He did die upon it. He descends first and then resurrects on the third day (Easter). He doesn't go to Heaven till the Ascension (fifty days after) AKA Pentecost. Most of my Muslim friends have no problem with Jesus (pbuh) or Christianity. They respect Jesus (pbuh) as much as I respect the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Why should they have to? They believe Jesus was the greatest prophet, isn't that enough of a complement? Furthermore, you have to admit that they just have a lot better ending for Jesus, saying that Allah lifted him off of the cross before he died and carried him up to heaven where he lives to this day, much more pleasant to me.!

jesus in the Quran = Al-massieh Issa ibn Mariam. which means the messiah Jesus son of Mary.

Because Isa(pbuh*) is a messenger of ALLAH Almighty. Isa(PBUH*) served ALLAH and submitted his whole self to ALLAH just like all the other prophets(PBUT*).
