Many Christians will say there is proof of Jesus, yet there is nothing. Most are lies created by Christians (Christians think lying for Jesus is okay if it saves souls). Such claims as Josephus, Philos, etc. all written long after Jesus (decades and centuries later) and many proven frauds. Shroud of Turin (proven fraud), Burial Box of Jesus's brother (proven fraud). There isn't even any proof of his family line. Why isn't he in the history books if there is proof (even as a mere man)? Why couldn't he even write his own words? Can anyone prove it by showing the museum site of this so called "real" evidence and what museum it is located in, and not some Christian propaganda site?

All of the miracles that Jesus supposedly performed were conveniently ones that left no mark of proof anywhere, despite his claims that he had the ability to do much more should he have desired to, such as, say, carve his name into the moon. I guarantee that most of the world would believe in God if the moon had a gigantic 'JESUS WAZ HERE LOL' imprinted in the side.

The gospels have been dated to have been written between A.D. 40 - 140 (It is generally thought that Mark was written about 70AD, however, so 40AD is stretching it). Either way, nothing was written down until after Jesus had died. If Jesus did all these wonderful remarkable things, why weren't they written down by anyone at the time?

Your museums are compiled with artifacts of religious relics supported only by theoretical analysis that stand as a fact until proven otherwise together with the pieces of remains called fossils and stories about their lives were shown and proven through hypothesis. The proof about Jesus is just the same as the proof about the life of an ancient Pharoah where writings on the walls and columns were only interpreted by so called experts. All subject to further verifications. Both sides of belief are never definite as long as more searches and diggings keep going on including the world outside this world are being explored and everytime there is a new finding, there also develop a new theory.

I do remember in a philosophy class a long time ago, that an instructor, who was definatly not a Jesus peron, makeing the statement that there was more evidence for the existance of Jesus than for Plato...it would take more effort than I care to make to search all the European univerities for the documents... but that all is unimportant... for one such as me, who at age 53 Came to know the certainty of The Way, The Truth , and The life, which is Christ Jesus... I have all the evidence I need... and I make no effort what-so-ever to try to "prove" it to any one... like me in my relationship with God... so must you work it out with God for the "proof you seek.... you will not find it in any University vault... you wont even find it in The Bible... If you are not honestly seeking it you will never find it... only those who come to God in The Way He proscribes will receive The Only Proof There is...

The Savior lived a very simple life, and at the end of his ministry there were two things. One (his body) was taken up again after the resurrection. The other was his robe, which was gambled for by the soldiers at his death.

Nice try stating that museum evidence is the only thing that counts. Read Lee Strobel's the Case for Christ if you want to know how evidentiary witness is quite cohesive and complete.

But I don't think you DO want to know. I think you want to attack the Christian faith rather than exploring the possibility that there might be something to it yourself.

thats the problem with some folks. they believe in Jesus as a myth like greek mythology.. I am a muslim and I do believe in Jesus, not as a God, but as a wonderful prophet and man.. Jesus has brothers and sisters. half through his parents Mary and Joseph and they obviously had their offspring. There are people in Palestine that can actually trace their ancestry to Jesus.. So he was a real person who walked the earth whether or not you think he is devine or not..

Why would this issue bother you as an athiest? Wait, I know, it's because your soul is not satisfied and still searching. I know this because I was once there also wanting these same answers. A great read is "The Signature of God" by Grant Jeffrey.

You will find in Roman History (they kept very good records) That Jesus of Nazareth walked this earth, paid taxes, made some Rabbi's very angry and died on the Cross. (For our sins mind you.)

You only need to look at history. ((That's not including what's written in the Bible)).

All I can say is bless is the man that believe and have not seen. Now Jesus did walk this earth and visited hell as well, broke the chains in hell and the dead also walked this earth. There is much proof in the bible and all one need to do is read it for yourself.

Where is your proof that Jesus didn't exist, other than your anti-Christian propaganda web sites

I'm in agreement. There is nothing written about the life of Jesus and I find it particularly amazing that from age 18 to 33 he did nothing worth writing about?
I think it's a simple brainwashing technique to call it religion.
