I think He gets another message in His in-box and dispatches the proper paperwork

No, but it would depend on who you ask to explain why. A Traducianist would believe that the soul is created as part of the same natural process which creates the body.

But even for Creationists (not to be confused with the belief system of the same name concerning the events in Genesis), God does not "watch breathlessly" for anything. God is eternal (see link) and does not view time as a sequence of events.

Yes, and he has to time it exactly right. Contrary to popular belief, the soul is created at the moment the genetic material mix, not at the moment the sperm penetrates the egg's cell membrane. You can actually toy with god if you want, but putting just a little genetic material into the egg. God gets confused and adds a partial soul. Then, add a little more and god adds a little more soul. Once god adds enough soul, you end up with James Brown.

That's what Santa told me, and I believe him, because I don't want him to stop bringing me gifts.

You're assuming God breathes!

Great point, but the God is everything people will just say that God is both egg and sperm and everything makes up your soul....
BLAH BLAH BLAH.

That would also mean God is hate and war, and rape and terror.

Obviously the soul is in the sperm - he does all the leg work -
careful with that soul cannon you'll put someones eye out!

He dosnt have to watch anything breathlessly... He is God allmighty... creator of all things. His word clearly states that he knew us before we were in our mothers wombs.

Why is it when a woman wants a child... its a baby... and if she were attacked and killed and the baby is also killed... the attacker is charged with two counts of murder?
But if the woman dosnt want the baby..... its a fetus.... and her and a doctor can kill it with no consequences at all????

Luke 17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

God bless you

GENESIS 2:7

"7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. "
