these day it is OK in western countries to dress how ever you feel
some countries are still in the dark ages when it come to dress
but in the US & Austratila (for example) it is fine as there are free countries and the only thing that stop people from doing it is fear
of what others might think
i have been walkng own the street and pulled over by police while wearing a skirt for some break in thing around the corner
the police asked me to stop there young lady
so i stoped turned around in my deepest male voice i said i am only out for a walk (sh!ting my self)
the officer tried not to larghed and did not he asked for my id i told him my male name (as i known only by that then)
and nothing can of it
if you are truthful with police they will proberly largh it off
behind your back and may let you change
if you go to the cop shop to help you in that way of sham
if you ask that is

Would you care? it is 2006 I can dress up as an elephant and no one would care. If that is what you want to do then do it. If the try to kick you out the store then sue because that is discrimination.
Now it was this story that was on bad boys where this guy was being pulled over by the cops. He started a police chase. He then called 911 to tell the operator that he is a man that was involved in the chase but he was dressed as a woman. He did not want the police laughing at him or trying to shoot him. The cops could not stop laughing.

It depends. Some localities do have such antiquated laws.
As far as getting pulled over, Trans people often have letters from their therapists or doctors explaining that they are living as the opposite sex in anticipation of SRS.
Other than that, police officers have seen much. I once saw an episode of Cops in which a man in a truck was wearing nothing but a leotard. Unless you're in a really conservative area, with shallow and narrow police, you probably won't have a problem unless you're arrested and thrown in a cell with other men.
Make sure you obey the laws and you should be ok.

That really depends on where you are. In some states it is illegal to be in a full disguise like that. I knew a drag queen who used to get ready at home and he told me that if you got stopped legally you must be wearing at least one article of clothing that agreed with the gender on your drivers license(of course that was also in Alabama).
You need to look up the laws where you are and ask.

Going out dressed as a girl should be no problem. Going into womens areas like dressing rooms and toilets is very much likely to get you arrested and registered as a sex offender!!!
It also leaves you open to attack by women in those areas and their spouses who would be looking to protect them.
Don't get labled as a pervert - stay away from womens areas.

well I really don't think you can get in trouble as long as you are not exposing anything and I think you should be able to shop in womens stores and use their dressing rooms.

Just watch out for rednecks and zealots. If you get pulled over tell only the truth to questions asked and hope you have a realistic cop.

I don't think so...you might get into problems in a rest room situation though...good luck...If you get pulled over while dressed up remember your dignity...you are not harming anyone.

I would think if you were caught in a ladies restroom, there would be screaming and the police would arrive. At the least it is pretending to be someone else, identity would be a problem.
