I can go with "God needs to grab up all the christians on earth in one instant." Ok. But it's the method that concerns me.

In a rapture there will be car accidents, surgeons will disappear in the midst of surgery, pilots will vanish out of planes. It will be a disaster that makes 9/11 look like a picnic.

My question is, why would an all-loving god have a system that would create such pain and misery?

I am having fun on here answering questions and my husband is bugging me again to get off and let him use the internet to look at cars probably or ebay. How do you know the Bible itself is not brimming with lies?


(If you use the Bible as your reference - isn't that kind of like saying "this guy here who is a lier, says he's not lying this time.)

In what is called 'The Book of Enoch', which was qouted from in the completed bible (but not included) Azazel is said to have led other angels to earth, they had offspring with women (which were born giants), taught men basically what we call components of witchcraft (herbs, enchantments, astrology...). Azazel and his angels were bound up, until judgement day, and the evil spirits that cause mankind suffering, are the spirits of their offspring.

Does this mean that the devil and his angels are NOT the cause of suffering, but the half-breeds that were left?

There's so much clamor here regarding whose religion is correct and whose religion is stupid, evil, or ridiculous. All these "discussions" do for me is lower my opinion of the followers of every religion involved.

Has anyone actually read anything here to make them respect or give credibility to another religion?
