Any religion that teaches hate and violence against your fellow humans is a pollutant. There are aspects of both religions that conform to this. Fundamentalist Christians and Fundamentalist Muslims are cut from the same cloth.

As long as there is fear of the unknown, hatred of differences and narrow-minded fanatacism, there will always be "Fairy Tales" to help these people justify their hate, fear and "faith". Read into what the founders of these religions said- LOVE ONE ANOTHER, regardless of who they are or what religion they follow!

Religion is a blessing to youngsters. But to answer your questioning the hate towards any religion is harmful. As for polluting?? Lets not leave out scenes of rape, murder, drugs, stealing, hate violence etc that "youngsters' get polluted with on TV, movies, and games. And just a side note, i feel bad for a child who can't have fairy tales.

That all depends on where you live. If you're in the west it's Christianity. If you live in the middle east, it's Islam. And unfortunately, people feel they need those "fairy tales". (Though I much prefer to fairy tales to religious writings. More entertaining.)

The answer is neither religion. The true religion of atheism is the most polluting the mind of youngsters. You may say "Hold on there, atheism isn't a religion" but it is. Atheism is having faith in that which is unseen like believing in evolution or primordial soup or the big bang. These are all theories made up by men. Atheism is faith in one's self, and if people really knew what was in the heart of mankind they would agree that it destroys youngsters.

I think is both, but at different levels and criteria. For instance, Christianity in many Latin American countries and even here still teaches that women are less than man and therefore, they should be subjects to their husbands, fathers and so on.Then we wonder why Latin American men are machistas; there you have your answer. On the other hand, Islam teaches to their young people that everything else outside their religion is bad and somehow it is the fault of the west, that needs to be destroyed.

See according to me and what little I have read about these two religions, none of these two religions are polluting anybody. No religion teaches bad thing. A religion is the biggest thing in the world and something which is big can't be bad. It is the people who misinterpret things and take thinks according to their own will because of which they get polluted. Religion is for cleaning the dirt within us, not to pollute us.

It depends on which side of the fence you're on and how much you hate religion. I don't see either polluting the minds of any kids. I am always pleased to see a child who has a religious belief, even if it's not my belief. I firmly believe that religion is esential to the growth of humanity and to mock it is to deny ourselves that which made us human. If you think religion is polluting kids minds, what about those who teach them that religion is wrong or that people who follow religion are wrong? Isn't that a form of pollution too?

if you look into it,you will see that the bible promotes love, peace, forgiveness and getting right with God. the quran teaches hate, revenge and killing of christians and jews. bush and blair claim to be christian but their actions speak louder....it is all front. there cant be a single christian soldier in usa or uk army, coz it contradicts christian belief. children need to be taught from early on about God,not about fairy tales and santa claus and other crap. our world is full of fakes, and greed and idols and money lovers. love doesnt make the world go around anymore...its money. everyone wants to be someone else and are not satisfied with who they are. brainwashing has done this, not by religion but by the media. christians dont retaliate, muslims thrive on it.
