Drives me mad! Depressing dark wet, dank, foggy dreary days that go on for months!!! Thats why I holiday in december then February for 6 weeks!

Yep, me too. I've never liked it. I'm all for popping off to Southern Spain when the clocks go back and returning when they go forward again. Don't like it being dark so early, find it really depressing and as for cold weather - they can keep that. I like it when everyone is moaning that they are too hot - then it's just right for me. Roll on March! Still, at least this year it's at the end of half term break, so we have the dark evenings back at work, rather than during the kids' break. And we get to see the stars earlier. Soon be Bonfire Night - now that is fun! You know what, thinking about it, there's a lot to enjoy in the Autumn and Winter, so I'm off to plan some fun and get over myself.
Hope everyone stays safe in the dark evenings and we all find a way to enjoy rather than endure the cold, dark days.

Surely this is the result of a farmer's lobby. We should accept the fact that the majority of the great British Public are used to getting up later and have British Summer Time all year round.

am looking 4 ward to extra hour in bed! I dont mind the cold as long as ive got a warm cosy coat, scarf and gloves.
The evenings can be cosy, even though its dark outside, it dont have to be the same inside...why not buy some all year coloured indoor lights, or get some wintery scented candles..snuggle up with your lover

i hate when the clocks go back or forwards as i have about 10 diff clocks in my place and i have to do every one of them. GRRRRRRRRRR

Yeah, but it's only an hour and after a couple of days you don't even notice it...And yes, an extra hour in bed, yipee!

i love the dark nites great for getting cosy in the house not so great weather though n u get an extra hour in bed lol!

I THINK ITS AN OUTRAGE IVE GOT ABOUT 19 CLOCKS IN MY HOUSEN CHANGE EVERYONE AND WE HAVE GOT A BIG HOUSE WHY DOES THIS STUPID THING HAPPEN ENWAY EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
