Am I over reacting? I know he likes me, but I'm very traditional in the sense that I won't hold hands w/ a guy unless he's my boyfriend. But he just won't ask directly. What should I do?

This morning i was indulging in a 540 calorie Big Mac. With the mayo covered pickles that i get lodged in my throat regularly. All the sudden i could smell the fresh bacon followed by a severe moan in the attic. I sprint down the stairs to see down yonder. I observed my grandpas mangled corpse in the depths of the basement corner. I see his singed foot accompaining a few pieces of raw bacon and a red George Forman Grill. I yelled in agony at his other dismembered foot ingulfed in flames. What should i do about my gramps?

I have such a mystical spirit.. I think in realms of spirit and wonder. I feel like a being that is spirit that inhabits my flesh. I look from within to things without and look within to my inward path and inner chambers for spiritual intimacy.. I dont feel accountable to the laws of religion...yet I love Jesus. He is starting to make me feel a canopy of His Presence over me during the day. Its like a veil one sees over a beautiful bed. It is His face shining on me and adoring me. Can anyone add to this ? is it mystical or does it sound like something you have experienced ?

I wonder why there were so many answers that said it was a rule in every Muslim country that all women had to wear headscarf. They even continued to post this answer after there were already several answers of people who told from their personal experience that it is not so. So where from do these people get this idea that in all Muslim countries all women had to wear scarf or even veil or otherwise would be punished? Why do people insist on prejudices that can so easlily be proven false?

I have a friend he is gay. As for me i'm bi (maybe i I could not make me out yet) but he doesn't know about it cause i do not accentuate on this any attention of anyone. But I feel drawn to him, but i can't find any way to demonstrate it for him. I think if he doesn't reciprocate my feelings i will be crushed. What should i do that he will understand that i have feelings to him?
I do not know what to do even i can't open my sexuality to anybody.

Ok, so I just asked a question about the meaning of life. Very interesting answer's. But one of them struck me in particular. Whoever they were they obvioulsy believed in God and Jesus, saying that the whole point of life is to serve God etc etc. But they also said that this life is nothing compared to the eternity in heaven you will receive if you believe in God and follow his teaching...

So here's my counterstrike to that. Does anyone else not think that the only reason religion still exists is because we are too afraid to accept that this really is JUST IT! No second life, no eternity. It's open your eyes your born, close your eyes you die. The stuff in between if just it.

Sounds horrific? Not really, don't you think that if we all truley believed that we might actually try and make this life and this world a better place instead of saying 'oh well doesn't matter, I've got heaven to look forward to?'

There is a long oral tradition of children's rhymes used in games they play going back centuries. I am speaking here of rhymes generated by children themselves, not those handed them by adults. These rhymes appeared to have a life of their own almost, changing over time as a living organism or language itself. In the 21st century is this pastime still viable, an ongoing childhood activity with rhymes still evolving and changing over time, or have modern electronic devices like the Ipod pierced the heart of the activity with a wooden stake, so to speak, sending it to its final resting place? Don't really mean to compare children to vampires, that was just the image that came first to mind to express the thought.

The Old Testiment gives the example of two bears coming from a mountain and ripping apart 75 children for being disrespectful. Given the horrible nature of the punishement, how could anyone believe in, much less worship, such a God?

I am aware that some will. I am not overly concerned but I do wonder. Sorry for offending any of my fellow Christians(And non Christians) but Christ did not teach hatred. Nor does my faith. I can accept and respect without neccesarily agreeing.
