No, we are far more than Christian. In fact, Bill Gates, who until recently was CEO of the wealthiest company in the world, is an atheist.

I would say that statement is not correct, because even those CEOs who call themselves Christian may not practice the Christian beliefs. Are ethics grounded in Christianity? I don't think so, because there are people from different faiths (or lack of faith) all over who have high morals and excellent ethics. Honestly, I think ethics are something every person can have if they choose to. You are correct in saying that Americans are not only Christians. In America, every single faith in the world is represented.

They might have been talking about a philosophy on how to run a business that's referred to as "servant leadership." There are many successful companies where the CEO tries to do what they can to make the employees feel as if s/he is one of them, and they are an important part of the business. It seems to encourage greater loyalty within the employees if they feel closer to their boss, that their boss would be just as concerned about issues they are concerned about.

Starbucks is run this way as is Southwest Airlines. Employees have stock in the company so they are just as invested in the success of the business as the CEO is.

It's worth a read for those interested in going for their MBA or running their own businesses one day.

Nominal Christians represent 80% of the American population, and dropping. The number of 'real' Christians is even smaller. That CEO is just assuming, and doing so improperly.
