Christians in North America are so accustomed to special privileges that they don't even recognize them as privileges -- for instance, they seldom (if ever) consider how profoundly unfair it is for churches to pay no taxes, for church-sponsored daycares and other businesses to be exempt from licensing and other regulations, for clergymen to be get away with spouting the worst kind of nonsense and committing outright fraud. Calling yourself a Christian means you can do a lot of things that the rest of us can't do -- so it's not surprising that they consider it their right to tell the rest of us "you don't belong here, so go away."

Attempting to play god, no. Being annoying, yes. Somehow they seem to think this is a Christianity only forum and start preaching to anyone that asks a question that has to do with another religion.
Stuck up if you ask me.

I wish everyone would monitor this forum. I love talking about God, whether you believe or not. I take no offense to the objective comments, because I believe if you are here asking, and answering, then there is a reason. And some people get the chance to vent and say things they are ashamed, or affraid to say to christians in public.

It's not only the R/S forum, It's the whole of Yahoo Answers I have seen bible thumpers post in the Philosophy, history and science sections I once saw a girl ask about where she could find good vampire stories one answer was try Jesus! I didn't know Jesus did good vampire stories did you?

Some of them feign offense at the slightest thing here, yet are oblivious that out in the real world, we have to put up with far worse from organized Christianity every day.

It has always been that way since the HOLY WAR!! If the Pagan's "Country Dwellers" would have beaten the Christians, our society would be a lot different today.

If you are referring to the posts asking what atheists have to do with religion or spirituality, it was a valid question. Most people assume that atheists have no spiritual life. Such questions allow atheists to explain their position. I don't see your problem.
