Does the pope do this? Some even nail themselves to a cross at easter (obviously, someone else is needed to bang in the nails). I don't this practice of self-inflicted pain is widespread, but what is the logic and how common is it?

Why do Muslim women have to cover their heads?" This question is one which is asked by Muslims and non-Muslims alike. For many women it is the truest test of being a Muslim.
The answer to the question is very simple - Muslim women observe hijab (covering the head and the body) because Allah has told them to do so.

Allah (SWT) said, "O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies. That is better in order that they may be known (as free respectable women) and not annoyed..." (Holy Qur'an, 33:59)

Other secondary reasons include the requirement for modesty in both men and women. Both will then be evaluated for intelligence and skills instead of looks and sexuality. A Muslim woman who covers her head is making a statement about her identity. Anyone who sees her will know that she is a Muslim and has a good moral character.
The Muslim woman who covers is filled with dignity and self esteem; she is pleased to be identified as a Muslim woman: as a chaste, modest, pure woman. She does not want her sexuality to enter into interactions with men in the smallest degree.

A Muslim school girl is quoted as saying, "We want to stop men from treating us like sex objects, as they have always done. We want them to ignore our appearance and to be attentive to our personalities and minds. We want them to take us seriously and treat us as equals and not just chase us around for our bodies and physical looks."

As a woman growing up in the 70's when women still valued home, marriage, and family I am disgusted by what the modern woman has done to society. They are no longer sweet and submissive and led by thier husbands. They are arrogant and put too much emphasis on being equal rather than stay in the role they were meant to be in. Women used to be content taking care of their homes and families and visiting with their neighbors for coffee when the kids where at school and hubby was at work. Now women seem to spend all their time working, running errands, and competing with men. In the process they have lost the benefits and privelages they once had as women as men no longer respect women or give up their seat to them on the bus. I just don't see what is so great about the lives they live now.

When a tenant rents a property, part of what they are purchasing is an expectation of a reasonable degree of privacy. Even the landlord himself must give reasonable notice to enter the premises. In this case, my landlord granted access to my rental to a third party and much of my personal belongings were stolen. Do I sue the landlord or the thief?

Irrespective of disease, if a middleclass man enter into a corporate hospital,he has to sacrifice his life for his entire lifetime.Whether the person has a disease or not,the hospital people will create.
For common fever if a person is admitted, he will definitely come with the knowledge of all the labs and tests. I am saying this for a midle class man. If it is for a labour/cooly ,he will be declared died. Or he can sell his kidney and cure his disease.

and why can't we build on that. we will never rid the world of religion, just the same as the world will never be all of one religion. two extremes. there has to be some common ground. i realize that there will always be the extremes with some people but you would think that there would be a majority of beliefs that people agree with and from there they could each have their own set of minor beliefs, with respect for others. some people will say we already have that but if we did you'd think there'd be less hate and violence in regards to varying religions.

My friend,she has this issue and she always brings it up to me.

Her man, which is the straight one, well basicly his very close to these 2 gay guys. He's actually there pusher ( you know what I mean) and he makes alot of money off them. My friend says he always goes out with them, at all houres of the night.

She says that they have sex normaly, and she dosent get a "gay vibe" from him. Everynight he hangs out with them thought, Shes meet them once, and they were real nice to her.

I hate it when someone shows up at my counter (not checklane, counter,and stands there with their cart waiting for me to come out and put the stuff on the counter to check out. Also they will set their shopping cart (those little carrybaskets, or the bags we have for shopping) on the counter expecting me to take everything out. IT is annoying because I have to waste time taking everything out and finding somewhere to put the empty basket while I ring them up. This slows down the line when there is one. Why can't people empty their cart out on the counter or empty their backet out rather than just stand there? I had a guy push an entire cart of stuff inside where I stand at the register and I had to dig through his cart to ring everything up and then had to deal withhim argueing about the price of everything. Why can't people just empty their carts? This isn't a grocery store where the cart goes up to the moving belt, the cart in on the other side of the counter,

This season on the show the players were intially divided by race, whites, asians, blacks, latinos.

What would happen if they were divided up by religion, ie atheist, christians/jews, muslims, hindus for example.

I'm not asking what would happen on the island, cause we all know players try and make friends and not get voted off, I am not asking about "who would win",

I'm asking, would there be the same media contreversy over it for that scenario as there was this year with the divisions based on race?

hi, 26, male here...i have no career now...still studying under graduation....struggling hard to find out the right career for me due to my physical disability and confusion....i dont know wat im going to do or where i have to work....but , my goal is to earn 5000$ per month within next 10 months( or 50, 000 rupees(indian value for money and im an indian and i dont know the equal value of this money in US or UK so i approximately put 5000$....)(in my new career which im going to get, but i dont know wat it is and i have been struggling to find out a career for many years because im a physically challenged) ....this is my dream and goal...is it possible??? is this a realistic goal or an unrealistic goal??

rupees 50, 000 per month is a bit huge money in india...

im doing self affirmation and visualising techniques to achieve this goal....

eventhough if its an unrealistic goal, will universe power help me to achieve this goal within next 10 months?
