This season on the show the players were intially divided by race, whites, asians, blacks, latinos.
What would happen if they were divided up by religion, ie atheist, christians/jews, muslims, hindus for example.
I'm not asking what would happen on the island, cause we all know players try and make friends and not get voted off, I am not asking about "who would win",
I'm asking, would there be the same media contreversy over it for that scenario as there was this year with the divisions based on race?

Probably so. But it would also probably be the only time I would watch it because I find most reality shows crass and idiotic. This one could probably top the idiocy with all the backstabbing and bigotry that would no doubt be prevalent. I think it would be riveting.

Absolutely, just like if there was a version based on politics.

Cool thought. Hmm... Hopefully it would be peaceful and everyone would help and share, but when it came down to worship time or converting folks... that's when the drama would come in. But, maybe everyone could go to their own separate corner of the island for worshipping.

probably yes. BTW, i say the muslim would win if he/she went during fast.
