That may be the way your cookie crumbles...but don't put the rest of us on your plain....and Jesus is not a fictional character...the Romans kept pretty good records...but the Bible is not about proving or disproving anything...It is about Faith, belief, trust and hope... but I want to ask you this...I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God and he came here to earth to die for my sins, the perfect sacrifice and even knowing that I would sometimes be disobedient and not always following His teaching, yet, He still died for my sins, long before I was even born...as well as the rest of the world and that includes yours and He conquered death by dying and was resurrected...and now sits on the right hand of God the Father...and if I die tomorrow...where do you think I will go? and now about you ........what if you refuse to believe and you die and discover that it is true.....where will you go? Do you really want to risk it...? think I had rather take my chances with my loving Savior ....don't you?

Jesus is not an entierly fictional character. The real man was named Yeshua and he was part of the splinter group of Jews called the Nazorians, Yeshua broke from them and went out on his own and finally made his way to Jerusalem where he got himself arrested and executed by the Romans. His half dozen followers tried to continue his work and were absorbed into the larger Messianic Jewish movement where his life was radically embelished. Finally a fellow named Saul of Tarsus got enthralled with the idea of Yeshua as the risen Messiah and began to sell his version of events that finally became accepted as true. The Jesus we know today is mainly a creation of Saul also known as Paul and has little to do with the real, Liberal Jewish preacher named Yesuha.

Your opinion isn't the final answer. It's just your version. Sorry, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Jesus is not a " fictional character" and it is obvious He is not in your life or you would know this mind & soul & every part of your being. He lives in my heart & soul. I hope you believe in Him one day before it is to late.
Satan & his demons know He is real & they quake. You WILL meet Him one day, ready or not. And that is the way the cookie will crumble.

Jesus is not a fictional character, and I do have Him in my life because I invited Him into it, You on the other hand do not have Him in your life because you rejected Him and choose to remain the child of your father who is the devil. And that's the way the cookie crumbles!!
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Praying for you!!

What you believe in certainly effects the choices you make, thus effecting the outcome of your life. Place extreme value on what you believe to be real. And more value on whether it lines up with reality or not. Otherwise you will certainly end up some where you didn't intend. Do you think all those Christians in WW11 Germany intended to support the mass murdering of the Jews? No their reality was way apart from reality.

Actually, I'd have to disagree and say that Jesus exist's even now and isn't a fictional character. He is even reconised to have existed by both Jews and Muslims alike (although they see him only as a prophet, and not as the only begotton son of God).

Whether Jesus was an actual historical figure or not, the belief in him and the example of his life, as passed down in Christian tradition, is real and can have a profound effect.

There is more historical evidence for the existance of Jesus than of any other figure from the ancient world. There is more documentation for the Bible than from any other ancient document. These are FACTS confirmed by non-Christian scholars and academics.
