There is only one God, but lets refer to the "Divine Presence" instead. That takes away from the tendency to try to humanize God. All cultures have a sense of the divine but each of us responds in our own unique way. Our cultural approach to the divine is through "Christianity", other cultures have other traditions. Christianity, Judaism and Islam all stem from the same root. Check out "emergent Christianity" on google. Lots of good stuff happening, but stay away from anything that smacks of certitude and dogmatic statements.

There is only one True God, but many false 'gods' (some of which the Bible calls Demons).

Different religions actually worship different 'gods' not the same God. The Jewish and Christian God are the same but Christians believe His Messiah has come and Jews are expecting a future coming.

Islam worships an altogether different god.

Mormons worship a different god.

Numerous cults worship different gods.

Just because the name is the same (god) doesnt' make the 'persons' the same.

Jesus said that "He was the Way the Truth and the Life, and no man (or woman) can come to the Father (God) but through Him". So either He was right and is the ONLY way to the True God, or He was wrong and therefore not God. But if He was right, then that makes all other religions false.

The choice is yours to decide.

the place does it say that the father and the Holy Spirit are 2 human beings? It does not. God IS the Holy Spirit. God Is the father. God is interior the son; John 14:9-10, Colossians 2:9-10.

There is one God in Three Divine Persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

The only way to the Father is through the Son.

If your proposition is true, what about the mutual exclusivity of certain religions?

Christians believe that faith alone gets you to heaven, but plenty of other religions say that works alone do the trick. What about the monotheisitic religions that say there is only one God, but faiths like hinduism have thousands (or more) gods?

Why would God create many different ways (most of which are diametrically opposed to each other) to bring people to Himself?

Well, as a pagan I believe many gods or at least many facets of the one. I believe all paths lead us to Deity and that Deity manifests itself in they way we can best relate.

But if you want a bible answer, try reading Ephesians 4:4,5, and 6.

By the way for any Christians who read that, ask yourself if there is only one church and one spirit and one faith then why so many different churches that all teach something contrary to the others? How many is One?

There are many gods , just read the bible and you can find this ..but they are all false other then the one and only God of heaven and earth , the creator of such..and we were separated from Him through our sins and He decided there was only one way to find reconciliation back to Him and that is through His son Jesus Christ ..and reconciliation is found not in anything we have done or can do it was achieved by what He has done for us..
now is that unconditional love or what ..

There is one God, but many gods.

Satan is behind all of the gods. If he can get people to follow any of the gods he is happy, as long as they do not chose the God.

What do I think? There is no god and all prophets are false. Sure, I guess that would be the same for all religions.

not true. there is only one way. may not seem fair, but its reality.
Jesus said he is the way, the truth and the life. He is the only way to God. You have to go through Jesus, to get to God. The bible tells you this.
