I think abortions should be legal but I also don't think they are a good idea. Nonetheless, God could prevent all those other causes of fetus and baby death with less effort than you or I twitch our eyebrow. So why doesn't he? He should want to, shouldn't he?

why do mormons belive that they can baptize the dead so they can go to heaven?

baptism is not what gets you into heaven. simple as that. so then why do we do it? it is a public profession. that is all. when you get baptized, you are standing iin front of the church body saying, i have accepted christ, here is a visual of what he has done for me. i was not saved (standing in the ater), i accepted christ and he cleaned me. (dumping under water) and i am now cleaned white as snow (returning from the water). this is what i have been taught. i can accept christ and not be baptized and still go to heaven, so why do you belive other wise? (if you do)

1. dual use of urine expulsion and sperm delivery system.
2. poor backbone design leading to easy injury and chronic pain
3. external male genitalia that are easily injured
4. proximity of input for both air and food, leading to hazard for choking and gastric gas.
5. my clogged sinuses that cannot drain with any efficiency

Evolutionary theory can explain these, but if my house were this poorly designed, I'd drag the architect/contractor to court.

I don't get it.. shy people like are hated, are thought of as useless. Then, loud social people do their parties, going out etc.. and so, shy people and social people live in different worlds and many times we don't mix. So how is it that we are able to live in the same society? I don't think it's effective as shy people are far away from the social structuress that businesses and family create( Businesses want outgoing , confident people. To have a family you need to be confident to date etc and meet people. also , you must help your parents and take care of the household)

Nothing is being done about it, and nothing can be done about it. So we're left with a city that's full of outgoing people hanging out with themselves.. and shy people dyiing out in depression

all muslims, buddhist, hindus, the atheist & agnostics have no conflict among themself within their own religion.

why then, christians have conflict & differences among themself. catholics versus protestants, non-pentecostal vs pentecostal, fundamentalist vs liberals, mormon vs main stream churches vs JW ?

I was saved when I was around 6 years old and baptized around 8 years old.

We're celebrating 2 of my friend's bdays tomorrow night, Jane and Meg. Meg picked the restaurant and Kelly and I are the other 2 people going. I am bringing gifts for both Jane and Meg, and they are both giving gifts to each other. I don't know if Kelly is giving either of them gifts, since she came to my birthday dinner empy handed. Since all these gifts are being exchanged, do Kelly and I have to pay for Jane and Meg's dinners too? It's not like we invited them out for dinner, Meg arranged it. Any advice is appreciated.

City life is too noisy.. and many people don't have ear problems.. Others do, but i doubt many have what i have. I have hyperacusis and it's so bad , many sounds hurt me even if not loud. But nobodies going to care..people are still going to listen to their dumb loud car stereos, put music so loud that my home windows vibrate for hours, work places will keep having fax machines beeping, and others will have loud machineery and hammering and not provide ear protection at all cause they don't even think it hurts anyone...etc etc. What to do?

It implies that there are certain groups: religious, ethnic, gender, etc. that are not capable of discrimination, and that's not true, we all discriminate in one way or another regardless of who or what we are a part of. being baptized does NOT get you into heaven in any way shape or form. yet the mormons belive if they baptise the dead in the golden calfs then they will go to heaven. but in order to get to heave dont you have to accept god into your heart. i mean thats the only way to go to heaven right? so how can baptizing the dead, who cant speak, and cant learn and who have not accepted christ go to heaven? im confused
