They're bleeding and with faces like the zombies of the "Attack of the Body Snatchers" movie. When I see then at church I can almost hear them utter "BRAAAINS! BRAAAINS!!"

In the Book of Revelation, Jesus is referred to once, early on, as a "lion." After that, Jesus is continually referred to as a "lamb." It is Jesus the LAMB who gathers the 144,000; the LAMB on whom the armies of evil make war; the LAMB who marries and rules after the war. So why do Tim LaHaye and others insist that when Jesus returns, it will be as a warrior lion?

i been away visiting no.3 the ex-ferengi borg pet, we were observing human transactions & interaction on ebay. human r as eager there as here. they seem to get a buzz buying & selling just like anwers & questions on yahoo here. why is that so?

There are those rare times on here that you come across a person with qualities that are rare and unique to this world. And you love them as another human being. Not in a sexual way, but in a way that reassures you that the human race could actually survive and thrive if more people had the same views as this person? Is it possible to love the heart of a stranger (for what you know of them) and see that they are being real just thru having read their profile and a few of there questions and answers?

Especially Christian folk. Why is it that people can't except that some people believe in science and others in religion? And why is it that only christian people seem to interrupt, I have yet to see a person of another faith stepping in with a point on evolution or the big bang? I dont understand it.

Have you noticed people that people tend to stop and talk in busy doorways? They see someone they know, decide to talk, and stop right next to or in the doorway... I'm not saying they shouldn't talk or that they should ignore people they know...just move out of the doorway, so you don't block everyone else that has someplace to go!! What causes this phenomenon? Is it a lack of courtesy? It is ignorance? Is it a "power" thing ("HA!!, everyone has to wait for me. I'm the boss!!")? What is the deal?

This is happening on my job and it is a problem. Every time she gives me something to do and after I have finished it I return it to her, she gets very happy and tries to patt me on the butt. She did it once and now I just back up so she can't. What is up with that? I don't like her that way at all. It really freaks me out.

The word "for" can be taken two ways here.

His death could have RESULTED because we are sinful - meaning that only sinful humans would put him to death.

OR, the word "for" could mean that he died to make up for something. But that leaves me confused because I did not personally eat the fruit from the garden. I didn't have anything to do with that.

Let's suppose Bob makes a moral judgment that you would argue is incorrect - What caused Bob to be 'wrong' and you to be 'right'? Why is Bob less fortunate than you (if you believe that making wrong moral judgments is disadvantageous to his spiritual wellbeing)? It's not good enough to just say 'free will' - I want to know why Bob's free will caused him to be wrong and your free will caused you to be right.

But India! The largest democracy in the world and these are democratic figures:
A majority hindu population(84%). The Prime minister is a Sikh(Manmohan Singh), the President is a Muslim(APJ Abul Kalam), the leader of the national advisory council is a catholic foreigner(Sonia Gandhi of Italian origin), the most popular film star is a muslim( Shahrukh Khan)! Does polytheism really make people evil!
