My mom is perfectly okay with my brother marrying outside his race. But my white boyfriend is not acceptable. I am suppose to sit around and and wait for a black guy to be interested in me. I disagree I have a great guy who treats me well and I him and we have so much fun. I love to read and so does he. We both love science and nature. I don't really know any black guys who are into that stuff and I have always loved dating white men. So I ask why should she call me all kinds of names because I date outside my race when my brother has been a male whore his whole life and that's okay because he is a man?

Besides being the 8th letter in the Greek alphbet. What is Theta and beside Scientology related, how is it conected to 'Thetan?' I can only seem to find Scientology references and when I looked it up on dictionary.com there was no definition. It asked me "Did you mean 'the tan?' " If someone could help me with this, that would be great because I'm running out of places to look.

"Transgenders"; homosexuals in denial? Don't misunderstand me, you can want to be a woman when born in a man's body but to believe you are one is ludicrous.

Transgender is just a term made up for people too scared to come to terms with their own sexuality.

Every day, people talk about religion (oh my god, god bless you...) all islamic things on the news... but what is the deal with religion?
How can women stay behind those covers all day long? How can people not eat during the day light for a month?
I just don't understand how people can be guided by textes wrote thousands of year ago, their just like a dog on a leash!
Isn't religion just something that seperates people even more then they already are???

When they don't do more for charities, or spend their money on expensive things. I'm talking about those that are million, or even billionaires. Isn't it their money, that they earned? It is a very nice and considerate gesture to share and donate some of that money, sure, but why do some people feel they should, otherwise it makes them a bad person?

Is it sinful for a woman to divorce if,

1. Her husband left eighteen months ago (she thinks that he works down south under the table, but has not been able to find him);

2. He had lost his job (for reasons related to depression);

3. He left after the family lost their home and were faced with a mountain of debt ($170,000--not quite sure where all the debt came from, she found out about much of it after he left).

4. He never cheated.

5. He always treated the wife right;

6. He was a good father until he left;

6. Her lawyer has advised that she should divorce and file for bankruptcy if she is to support her children, restore her credit, and move on with her life (bank had seized her rent money and creditors telephone and threaten litigation and wage garnishment).

To those who advise a woman to follow apostle Paul's words and remain silent in the Church and to ask her husband if she has questions, this illustrates why some Christian women struggle with the verse.

i've been reading questions on here and it's mostly why Catholics V. Protestants...why Portestants V. Catholics...why Jewish V. Protestant and so on and so on...why does it have to be versus? I'm a Roman Catholic and we have different ways of worshiping but isnt the whole point to satisfy God? we might have different paths but isnt the goal the same? why all the seperation and hate? i dont get this?? i have friends who are Hindu, protestant, jewish, catholic nd baptist...we do argue on how to please the Lord but we do agree on the pleasing him is the point....your opinion? thank you!
