People in the fast lane should move to the right if someone wants to drive faster. Speed limit has nothing to do with it.

Hasn't anyone ever seen the signs that read "Slower traffic keep right"...C'mon people!

Additionally, a general rule that everyone should follow:

You never give up your right-of-way, and you never take anyone elses.

People just don't give a sh!t, they drive around with their head in their @$$ not paying attention to anything else that's going on around them. The primary concern is getting to wherever they have/want to be as fast as they can with no regard to who they may cut-off, they just drive like d!ck-heads and don't care who they may piss off. I HATE PEOPLE!!! I live in southern cali and everyday I drive to and from work and every day I get increasingly angry at people (for those of you who are familiar with socal, I work in Santa Monica and I live in Redondo Beach, it's a 12 mile drive but it takes me over an hour each way.....TO DRIVE 12 ******** MILES, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!). By Friday evening I'm ready to run someone off the road, I try not to drive on the weekends so I don't end up killing someone, I need a couple days of not driving to chill out a bit so I can get up Monday morning and do it all over again. No one follows traffic signs anymore, every single person on the road is rude and inconsiderate. Whatever happened to the thank you wave, nothing pisses me off more than letting someone over or into my lane and they don't even acknowledge me! I didn't have to let you in @$$hole, I CHOSE to let you in, I could've let you sit there until some @$$ decided to let you in 5 minutes later. I hate CA, that's it, I'm moving to the midwest, at least they acknowledge when someone does something nice with a wave or head nod or SOMETHING! Well now, it appears that you hit on a nerve with your question. Um....HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE, ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!!!

Hmmm, well I'm from Boston and that kind of driving behavior is just expected. You will get tailgated if you are going under 100 in the fast lane, if you do not peel out the second the light turns green you will get honked at. No one uses turn signals, it gives away your plan. I think it's a catch 22, no one follows the rules because no one else does. There is actually a law here ( that is never enforced) that says if there is more than a three car backup behind you, you have to pull over and let them pass no matter what speed you are going. LOL. Try navigating a rotary on The VFW Parkway following proper driving etiquette. You'll be sitting there for HOURS!
I feel your pain though!

Because people become stuipid on the roads. In the US, there is very little driving skill and lane discipline. For example, you don't hog the left lane in Europe-- if you do, I think in some cases you can get a ticket. At worst, you can get in accident.

Flashing lights, a common thing internationally to indicate you want to pass, gets people bent out of shape in the US.

Drives me nuts when people won't move out of the left lane. I don't tailgate though. And people who slow down on purpose are only being more rude and dangerous.

If I'm in the left lane, no matter how fast I'm going, and somebody wants to pass- I get out of the way.

It is similar to people ignoring Yield signs. I can't tell you how many times people just blow by them on Freeway Frontage roads. So instead of yielding to me getting of the freeway, I have to yield to them. And then, they have the audicity to get P.O's at me.

I really also hate when people won't let others in if they're trying to turn or change lanes. I do it all the time -- let people thru. A little courtesy doesn't cost you anything.

Lastly, remember. You don't automatically have the right-of-way. You are yielded the right of way.

******* are everywhere and they're taking over.

For some reason, everyone packs their brain in the trunk when driving. This means you if you are a too slow driver, fast-lane hogger, no blinkering, cutter-offer, non accelerator, or general rule breaker!!

I have nothing against people who want to drive slowly. But they should either get a horse or get out of the way, thats all.

I agree with you somewhat. But, you also need to refresh your driving knowledge. Go to your nearest DMV and grab the manual.

You should only be in the "fast lane" to pass. It's not a lane there for your convenience, so you get in it to pass, and you get out when you are done.

"Slower traffic keep right" means keep to the right hand lane, or the slow lane.

I ought to plead accountable to being a vulture, fairly in undesirable climate, once I've labored a 12 or 13 hour shift, and maximum fairly as quickly as I genuinely have my 6 month previous grandson with me. I do, notwithstanding, attempt to pass away sufficient area for the guy to lower back out, and that i pull over to the area sufficient that different autos can pass. the a number of different vultures positively are people who are not feeling properly, have undesirable knees, hips, hearts - and yet do no longer qualify for a handicap decal. they may be a pregnant woman in her final trimester, or a mom with youthful infants. Are there hunky, buff men who stalk parking places? Are there women who "do no longer want to get their hair tousled"? Are there a dozen different varieties of people who force me loopy in a carpark - Oh, yea........And, there are the human beings who whip around parking a lot zipping throughout lanes endangering those driving and strolling interior the path of the lot. those make me loopy because of fact they are risky. So, please do no longer condemn all people who (I want the term) "stalk" parking places. some anybody is in simple terms attempting to get via.

I know that's right! How about when someone is pulled over on the side of the road, maybe with care trouble, and no one gets over. What REALLY makes me mad is when I'm trying to get on to the interstate and I'm coming off of the ramp and someone will be in the slow lane and no get over-and no one will be in the fast lane so they can get over................

I think people just basically have no regard for others. Bad driving is just another way that people are inconsiderate of one another. They are just rude, and on some level most are guilty of it.
