In the name of God, most Gracious, most Compassionate

as a muslim, obviously i would say Islam is the true way of life. it's not really a religion that some would separate from life itself.

there are a lot of misconceptions about Islam like there are a lot of misconceptions about other religion such as Christianity, Buddhism etc. these misconceptions happen among the public and even among the believers.

there are some questions and enquiries about Islam that i, myself still wondering but it's up to me and other muslims to find out the logical and rational reasons for everything.

just like any other religions, Islam also provides some unbelievable and unlogical claims such as prophet Muhammad PBUH "Isra' Mikraj" journey, heaven and hell. BUT these are when the FAITH really kicks in. (meta physics!)

faith is when we believe on something when there's no evidents and logical reasons to support the claims.

i've read some informations regarding scientific evidents about several practises in Islam such as the purpose of the different numbers of rakaat (rakaah) for 5 daily prayers, the effects of saying Allah or Basmallah (bismillah) before drinking water etc.

BUT i've forgotten the links for the findings. i'm deeply sorry.

Islam is a religion of peace. During the recent years unfortunately its been getting a bad reputation. If u follow the Quran, you will find everything there. From the creation of the world till the end of it.

Let me give u just 3 small examples. Example 1:
Learn about 'embryology'. Its been depicted in the Holy book just as the doctors sees it today. And that too was about 1420 years back. No sophisticated method were available at that time.

Example 2:
It says that the universe is expanding. Scientists today are amazed by this discovery.

Exapmle 3:
It says towards the end of the world, Earth will start to hold its water. If u've read the metro of last week, maybe u have seen the prediction that by 2010(I forgot the exact year), there will be less water available for humans.

These are just a few examples. Others include that there will be many earthquakes(scientists have proved that), and many more.

It seems to my mind the only thing wrong with islam is the control the clerics have over the the people who follow the faith, It seems to be the kind of hold that the clerics exercised over the poor illiterate people in our own religions, say, way back hundreds of years ago, you know stuff like; do as I tell you, or you will end up in hell. and of course it made the clerics very rich into the bargain, and all powerful.

I think it was originally an attempt to save the various Arab tribes from idolatry and superstition by introducing monotheism.

Unfortunately those tribes retained their warlike traditions because there was no way in Islam to deal with sin other than by a very selective puritanism.

When no one really knew what would happen to them in the afterlife, the principle of jihad (originally a spiritual struggle) became a support for tribal warlikeness, and the idea of deflowering virgins in the afterlife held a certain violent nature that would easily grow from a desire to die in battle.

Muhammad did a lot of good for his tribesman, but unfortunately neglected their barbarian culture and even encouraged it.

It is an interesting an complicated religion with a fascinating history and several different forms such as Sunni, shia, Sufi etc. but it currently seems to be being dominated by Wahhabi/Salafi based narrow dogma which is fuelled by Saudi petro-dollars. This rigid interpretation also seems to be linked to the rise in terrorism, though that is far from the whole story.

genuinely, till now you're making any assumptions, you need to examine up on your fabric. Islam, between the oldest religions interior the worldwide PREDATES Christianity. lots of Christianity is likewise, in actuality, based on the training of Islam. there are a number of key similarities between Islam and Christianity. One being the reality that Islam is a monotheistic faith. it is likewise believed that their God (Allah) is the comparable because of fact the God of Christianity and the God of Judaism. no longer basically that, Jesus is tied in with Islam. notwithstanding Muslims do no longer worship Jesus the comparable as Christians do, they suspect he become a prophet as they suspect have been Abraham and Moses. Their 5 Pillars (their regulations) have been additionally the muse for the ten commandments. those Pillars are fairly lots the comparable because of fact the ten commandments: Devotion to God and basically God, Prayer 5 circumstances an afternoon, Fasting throughout the holy month of Ramadan, Alms-Giving, and Pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca a minimum of as quickly as in a life-time. Muslims even have self assurance that interior the destiny, their prophet Muhammad will upward push from the ineffective (in simple terms like Jesus) and convey with him God. it quite is Judgment day. Islam isn't to any extent further "evil" than Christianity or the different faith. notwithstanding some people who do recommend for Islam use debatable procedures (terrorists and so on.) those are a SMALL factor of the Muslim inhabitants and are not seen actual followers via their human beings. Many Muslims i understand are non secular pious people who uphold the comparable morals and ideology as Christians. the comparable could be pronounced for Christianity. There are lots followers of Christ who are not precisely super human beings. You hear approximately them all of the time, pedophiles interior the church, murderers. yet Christians do no longer evaluate them actual followers the two. whilst it incorporates faith, you basically can no longer argue approximately who's evil and who isn't. the important ingredient is to basically learn till now you kind an opinion. you may no longer call me biased because of fact i'm an atheist. some non secular learn and scripture training can do you reliable.

Islam is a religion of "Salvation based on Works". Not only does it give you a chance to earn your way into Paradise, but it also tells you how to do it.

Real Muslims are good people. I've had the pleasure of speaking with them about their faith, and they were very helpful. Even when I rashly spoke about the Jihad being and excuse to kill people " They were very patient and explained to me that Jihad was actually a term used for " battling against corruption ", whether it be in the world or in oneself.

The Islamic religion itself is an honorable religion. When people actually follow it, things work out rather well.

It appears the main difference between Catholics and Muslims is that Catholics have progressed beyond the need to slaughter everyone who doesn't share their religious beliefs. Muslims, on the other hand, appear to be just getting started.

When claiming Catholics are worse than Muslims and couching an opinion in a historical context, one would do well to point out that it was Muslims who first tried to impose their religion on the world, not the other way around. Ignoring the 300 years of world/Muslim conflict that took place before the Catholics Crusades makes an argument disingenuous.

It's a oneway ticket straight to hell. It contradicts Christianity for one.Islam is the worship of the meccan moon god Allah. It is idol worship.Much like many pagans worship. The difference is that Islam requires it's believers to convert non believers by the sword.Do it or die.It offers no redemption for your sins. There is nothing tangible to save you from your sins. You will never get to meet Allah. If you go to hell you will.Allah is the devil.Jesus Christ offers you redemption for your sins.Your sins were paid in full by his blood shed on the cross. But if you choose not to follow Christ you will spend eternity in hell that was meant for the devil and his fallen angels.God is not being cruel by sending you to hell he is being holy.If he didn't pass judgment on you and me he wouldn't be just and holy.It is his holy mandate to pass judgment on people who hear the gospel but turn away. The people that never hear the gospel, say it was not their fault.Nobody ever got to them and witnessed. He will still pass judgment upon them to.But he does offer us a way out.We are all born into sin,but we don't have to die in our sins.Muhammad was coward. He always had people to do his dirty work. When he died, that was it.His bones are turning to dust somewhere in the middle east.Jesus defeated death, hell, and the grave, and is alive forever more.Allah is nothing more than a rock with a carved out face.Punishment for believers that are carnal, turn away from the lord, and don't witness as they should will also be major.God can and will forgive them for their sins, but will still pass judgment on us all.Islam is a false doctrine, and Muhammad is a false prophet.

Everything you need to know you can find in a book by Mark Gabriel, a former Muslim Scholar from Egypt who is now a Christian in America. He was captured and tortured for questioning his faith and then nearly killed for converting to christianity. He changed his Arab name to Mark Gabriel to flee the muslims. His book is called Islam and terrorism. It is truly a religion of hate. Muslims who do not know this probobly don't read there q'uran. Muslims tax Christians for their beleifs in Arab countrys such as Iraq and Saudi Arabia and Syria. Coming from Iraq myself I will tell you, the Muslims who say they want peace are no more involved in there faith than your average Joe who says he's a Christian but only goes to church on Easter. Read the Book Islam and Terrorism...You'll see
