would have to guess the Mormons because they had to keep fleeing the various parts of the country until they reached Salt Lake Utah

The Quakers were definitely persecuted. The first Amerian Christian martyr was a Quaker. She refused to "pay tithes" to the government that was established at the time, and she believed that God still healed in her day, so the Puritans of her day - the very people who'd fled Europe to escape religious persecution not long before this - burned her at the stake. It was a case of the persecut-ed turning around and becoming the persecut-ors.

Perhaps the Jehovah's Witnesses have been persecuted the most... not physically beaten or martyred, but not many people in the U.S.A like Jehovah's Witnesses. I am not a Jehovah's Witness, by the way... and I don't dislike them.

here is the reply to your answer to my question...
"the birth of the saviour was as natural as are the births of our children: it was the result of natural action. He partook of flesh and blood-was begotten of his father, as we were of our fathers" -brigham young in Watt, ed Journal of Discourses 8:115
"I will say that i was naturally begotten; so was my father and also my saviour jesus christ. according to the scriptures, he is the first begotten of his father ion the flesh, and there was nothing unnatural about it" -Heber C Kimball in Watt, ed Journal of Discourses 8:211
there is a bit of the reading i was refering too.... i dont understand how that can be true seeing as the bible says it was a virgin birth...

That's a tough one. I would have to give an even tie to;
Anglican - because of the gay issue
Catholic - because of the pedophile scandal
Baptist (or anything evangelical) - because they are annoying.

'Our country'?
The Anabaptists had it pretty hard. So did the Hugenots and the Hutterists.
Not in 'your country' maybe, but how am I to know what 'your country' happens to be?

You realize a lot of them will start waving their hands around, jumping up and down and yelling "mine was! mine was!" don't you?
