Through out the history of Islam, where ever the Muslims have ruled, people converted to Islam very slowly, over centuries. Spain became a Muslim country after 200 years of Muslim rule. Even at that time many of its inhabitants were Christians and Jews. This was back in the 700s. Spain remained under Muslim rule for close to a 1000 years and was the most advanced region of Europe. Similarly, India was never a Muslim majority country during the 800 years of Muslim rule there. Majority of their people were all Hindus. Also, during the 600 years of the Otoman Empire most of Europe that came under their rule remained Christian.

So, no, people convert to Islam because they see the logic in it that is clear from curruption. After the 9-11 attacks, the convertion to Islam in America trippled. No one is forcing these people to convert, they read about it and decide on there own.

Not completely,

I think people are always searching, and the Muslim apologetics do a good job of pushing the good things about Islam and there are there.

They join before really studying the Whole faith to see if they Really believe it or are just drawn by a nice Muslim.

I did a lot of deep study of Islam, and I was not convinced or brainwashed, it drove me to the Church that Jesus started.

The Roman Catholic Church.

Peace and God Bless

If one wants a religion, and is a Christian, I can see why he easily would convert to Islam. G-d is One.

those who don't believe in Islam are too jelous to see people convert to Islam, and they can't figure out a reason why they convert because they themselves don't believe in Islam. so they will come up with ideas such are "..they are being forced"..."they are being brainwashed"., "... controled by demon or satan", .... "they are stubid or misleading". i will say to them just leave Islam alone and be happy with your faith, we already know it's the true word from our lord.

Definitely because they are convinced... talk to Muslim people you will find out they are normal people with a strong faith... ofcourse there are extremists who are "brainwashed" but its not Islaam brainwashing them, its their own misinterpretation and intentions... thats what I beleive...Islaam is a religion of purity and peace... its not about brainwashing.
