i just read a question from a person who either needs to go to a psychologist or psychiatrist, or if he was joking, well...we dont need to go there. anyway, most of the people answering his question said that the questioner needed some mental help quickly. yet, there were a few christians (or god believers) who answered with just seek "god" and "he" will cure you. there was no mention of psychiatric help. do some christians truly believe that their god and only their god will cure them of illness, whether it be mental or physical?

My teacher gave me lots of homework.. the rest is done but only one last homework is..

Why people called "Greenland" in northern of Canada.. or Europe, it is a cold place, filled with snow.. But why green? It's SNOW, Should be Whiteland, Snowland, or Iceland.. but why Greenland? My guess is.. Long time ago it was green land filled of grass.. maybe? Not sure >.<

If I was doctor I would diagnose myself of shyness... if that was a sickness... and I think it is. I tend to be very shy... especially around the opposite sex... but.. I tend to be quite normal and outgoing with my friends... people I have a certain amount of confidence..

This shyness has brought a lot of problems in my life.. including various opportuniities to get a girl. I say the most odd things when Im around these.

I have a problem at looking at a persons eye.. I can only look straight to their eyes.. for a second or two.. then back to the ground.. I'm assuming thats a problem.

Any tips to get out of this nutshell?

I'm in gr.12, and I'm still not exactly sure what I want to do with my life. I like helping people, and have a heart for those with disabilities, kids, and seniors. I have considered becoming a speech pathologist, but I don't know how hard that would be. I would be so grateful if you would all give me ideas based on what I've just said. I'd also love it if you would tell me about jobs you have or have had that you really like(d), so I can take those into consideration too. Thanks in advance!

Went to wedding recently. They were both nondenom christians. They had a huge wedding and she had a big honking rock on her finger. Do you think that this is very christian of them I mean considering how many out there are starving. They say to follow in path of Christ. Do you think that Christ would aprove of this? Have you ever been a witness of a creamation of a loved one? Are you behind a glass door? does it smell when the body is being cremated? I always wondered how they do it with people and cats...I could of been there at my mom's creation but i just could not do it but i did take a small keepsake urn home with me with part of her ashes...the other part of her ashes are buried in her urn in her grave. My cat casey also, died recently and i could of been at her cremation too, but i also declined.

...so following that argument, if Hitler had a sudden flash of inspiration just before he died and confessed with his mouth...believed with his heart... he could be in heaven, right? I know it's unlikely, but possible?

Thosands of pilgrims are trampled to death in Mecca every year, and with global population growth, the death trends grows greater and greater every year.

The irony is, Muslims who are trampled to death, are killed in the most insulting way for Muslims (soles of the shoe are greatest insult). Because silly Allah supposedly controls all things, this must mean that Allah wills these Muslims to be murdered, in Islam's holiest place by the most insulting means. If Allah exists (of course he doesnt), we can only conclude that he hates Muslims.

In anycase, world population, for all religions and cultures, is contantly growing, thus, its impossible for the insane Hajj obligation to be something Muslims can perform in the future. Its only a matter of time till populations are so high, that even if a man puts in his Hajj request at birth, the logistics will deny him the possiblity.

What date do you think this critical mass will be achieved?

Why is it that Christians cannot just have their faith and quitely go around believing in whatever God they want to believe in but without all of this nonsensical rhetoric? Also why don't other religions (who have on average more followers than Christiantiy) feature on this board as "loud" and "obnoxious" Christian's do?
