SEE THE passion of Christ bible based
Jesus came as a Jew-did he self crucify himself "Jews put him to death' did his mother help too?
Jesus was crucified from some religious leaders given to the Romans who crucified him
yet Jesus said "I go for the joy set before me, that ye may believe."
ultimately we killed Jesus-he died for all for all our sins-now its a son question-what will you do with him-and if you recieve him Romans 9-11th chapters will you come back to my jewish people to provoke us to jealousy by your kind spirit and truth telling in Jesus-not by antagonism thanks-read my questions for ways to witness im not perfect but everwhat -thanks david in his amazing grace---
and yes when we purposfully sin its part of his crucificion-why add to his pain-when our living savoir on our heart will be pleased by our gain when we refuse to sin-to grow in inner peace and Joy with Jesus within!!! :D

People believe Jews put Christ to death because they gave Jesus up to the Romans. While it is NOT true that the Jews actually killed Jesus, it was because of some of the Jews that the Romans were able to crucify him.

Not that the Jews did kill Jesus or anything (crucifixion is a Roman punishment), but are you suggesting that just because the Jews had "Thou shalt not kill" as a commandment that they aren't capable of murder? Because my recollection is that there are bodies dropping all over the Old Testament.

Honey, you need to read your bible. The Pharisees pushed for Jesus' death because they were threatened by Jesus' popularity with the people. Christians do not believe "Jews" are responsible for the death of Christ. We do know that the Jewish religious leaders plotted His death, because the bible says they did. Even Pilate knew that Jesus had been delivered to him "out of envy". Anyone who is trying to blame anyone for the death of Christ misses the point. Jesus Himself said, "no one takes my life from me; I lay it down".
Besides, this is all a moot point. His death on the cross has made us who believe......free.

The Jews brought Him to trial, then handed Him over to the Romans.

I don't claim to know all the details of what happened, but I also don't care who did it!
Why would it matter to us today what a certain group of people did 2000 years ago?
