Andrea Yates, a good Christian, drowned her children to get them into heaven. By drowning them so young, they never had a chance to grow up, sin, and lose their chance to enter heaven.

Yes, Yates will end up in Hell. But doesn't that make her a martyr for selflessly sacrificing her soul for the sake of the souls of her children?

How is it a bad thing to love your children so much and want your children to receive eternal life in Heaven that you're willing to kill them to get them there?

Why give children a chance to screw up their trip to Heaven by letting them grow up when you can get them to Heaven by killing them after they're born?

Or are Christians so selfish they worry more about their own souls rather than the souls of their children?

If these same killings had happened to muslims children,do you think their community would react with the same grace and spirit of forgivness???I watch people everyday on the news who lose loved ones and hear them say we forgive, but we want justice,so Christians also forgive autrosities.I am not picking on Muslims,I just want to know what the majority think of the way the Amish have shown their beliefs and how the Muslims would show their selves to be in this situation. Please Muslims who want to speak on this,I welcome your voice, for I have been a student of Islam for years and wonder if the Islam I know exist,or this Islam that I see now is the truth.

I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35.2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obliged to kill him myself?

I’m sick of Darwinist followers who thinks we came from apes or who thinks we’re a distant cousin of apes. They’ll argue that there is only 1% gap between the human genes and monkeys, but that’s just what nature is; “The 1% difference!” It still does not make us one of them even if there was a sliver of difference. If humans coming from apes were true by evolution due to the survival of the species, then why are there still apes around? Dogs are said to have come from wolves and can be crossbred, it goes the same with a Zebra and a horse, a rat and a mouse and as sick as it sounds, if we humans did come from apes, why don’t we just cross breed human with monkeys to find out once a for all? I honestly believe it’s not possible though because it is just proof that we’re not related to apes or monkeys. What’s your opinion?

I just read a resolved question, why some Indians are dark skinned?
People who originated or living near the Equator are darker than those further North or South.Similarly curled hair is more prevalent among dark haired people.Could it be the same reason?.

What is the source of your faith in God? How can the word of a book written 2000 years ago be taken literally, at face value, without question? Don't you think the authors of the Bible had their own prejudices, insecurities, private agendas and virtually made up what they didn't know or understand???

In movies jewish people are usually very picky about the people their kids are with and everything and thinking of the number of people who oppress the jewish on a daily basis I would think they would be rather humble people yet in my area, to my knowlege, I have never seen a jewish church and never to my knowlege met a jewish person (as silly as that sounds its true) but are jewish people a discriminative religious people like christians or more like "well I respect your religious ideals I personally don't believe but your a good person and I like you." So which is it? from either standpoint?

For all those people who think Muslims are terrorists:

III. WARNING

Our dear Prophet (pbuh) warned those who do harm to their neighbors. He informed them that they are not believers, that they will be punished, and they will not enter paradise. In one Hadith the following reported:

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Prophet (pbuh) said:

He will not enter paradise, the one whose neighbor is not safe of him. [Muslim]

In another Hadith the following reported:

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) saying that the Prophet (pbuh) said:

In the name of Allah, he is not a believer, In the Name of Allah, he is not a believer, In the Name of Allah, he is not a believer. They asked him, who is he O Messenger of Allah! He said: It is he whose neighbor is not safe of him. [Agreed]

Andrea Yates, a good Christian, drowned her children to get them into heaven When they say "religion of love", what they mean to say is "religion of loving you to death".

So now, all you Christian apologists need to put on your thinking cap and figure out how to spin this. I'm sure you will respond with something about Bin Laden, and how he caused this. Or some crap about 9/11.

But can you please try to be more original this time. Throw me some spin we haven't heard before. Entertain me!

I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21.7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?
