Andrea Yates, a good Christian, drowned her children to get them into heaven When they say "religion of love", what they mean to say is "religion of loving you to death".

So now, all you Christian apologists need to put on your thinking cap and figure out how to spin this. I'm sure you will respond with something about Bin Laden, and how he caused this. Or some crap about 9/11.

But can you please try to be more original this time. Throw me some spin we haven't heard before. Entertain me!

Orion, You are so weak. That's not even spin, you should be ashamed of your Liberal self.

Andrea Yates was mentally ill, and that was an isolated incident.

What Muslims do is an organized event, with thousands participating. And they do this every year to celebrate some dead Shia prophet.

You need to go back to spin school.

IS it ok for all the stupid slutts that dont want their kids to try & play Christian or some religion they not? Then use it as an excuse for their crazy behavior? Is it ok for you to even ask this question in the first place. Folks if I'm wrong give it a thumbs down or UP.

Wow! Are you attempting to blame Christianity for these murders? If so, you are barking up the wrong tree..Let me tell you, first hand, of someone I knew who was in similar circumstances.
A few years ago, when my husband & I owned a double home, we had a man tenant upstairs, who had a wife and baby, but they were separated. He had been telling us that his wife had dilussions, and was a bit "off!" He was working 2 jobs, so as a result, his wife had custody of the 2 year old during weekdays. He took her to his home on weekends. We visited with the little girl often, as she rode her bike and he taught her to skate and play ball in the yard.
One day during the week, our tenant told us that she was getting wackier and wackier, and he was trying to get sole custody, and had found a sitter and quit one of his jobs. He was extremely concerned about his little girl.
But,,,,too late....suddenly his wacky wife, had suffocated their beautiful child. The guy upstairs, who had become a good friend of ours, was devasted. We were too...
Having met his ex-wife and observing her behavior at times, I could see that something was wrong with her. She was a religious nut, but.....the church had nothing to do with this bizarre behavior. Our tenant, then told us that she "heard little voices telling her to save the child from the evils of the world". She had been under psychiatric care, and she had some deep problems, but the real issue was that she was being influenced by demons...as sometimes too much religion, focusing on certain issues too deeply, and being out of mental balance, brought this weird imbalance on. Trajically and sadly, a little girl died as a result of the demons in her brain...
Don't blame Christanity; this woman was sick, and she twisted religion to "justify" her actions. There are mental problems everywhere..both in and out of churches. There are those who twist or gravely mis-interpret Biblical teachings to justify behaviors.
I'm not trying to "entertain" you! This isn't an entertaining subject! How ridiculous!
I'm just telling you, or as you like to refer to it, "throwing you some "spin" we haven't heard before"....and it's not funny! The victims are suffering, there are mental problems out there, and we need to blame someone or something for this happening, but it's not Bin laden, or 9/11 or Christianity or some other rubbish idea! It's pure mental illnesses, coupled with demonic influences!
I hope you learned something! Whether it's "original" or not deosn't matter, its the truth!

this is absolutely out of order. like many christians, or generally over the top religious ppl, she has been brain washed, and lived in complete ignorance. she was disordely, as shown by her actions. now her kids are dead they are not in heaven, they are just dead, you wait till she discovers that.
but is ok, hence you can do whatever the f*ck you want as a christian, as all of your sins will be forgiven...what a f*cked up mentality that is...

poor children...i hope the come back to haunt her forever.

That woman didn't drown her children to get them into Heaven. She drowned them to kill them. Happen to believe she was overtaxed, overstressed and suffering from postpartum psychosis. She had a history of serious mental illness and her husband should have done more to make sure she had help and support.

The children's going to Heaven after their death is unrelated.

The woman obviously had psychological problems - she was purely crazy. This has nothing to do with christianity or 9/11 or anything. Some women have this disorder, others hurt their children physically in order to take care of them afterwards. It has nothing to do with the teachings of any religion and certainly she was not a good christian, she told herself she was.

Wishing that you truly seek for the answers to clear your mind and raise yourself to a higher station.
No questions of man that the Messengers of God have not answered in their Holy Books which are now freely available on the Internet.
God never left any man in ignorance and unhappiness, except when they willingly ignored Him. The patients who refused to take medical treatment could not be cured. If God had to save you despite your denial, then you would become like the creatures of no rational sense.

Pure insanity were her actions. You show a bit of it yourself by attacking people that you do not follow or believe in, but yet your heart is so dark you find pleasure in attacking what you think you have all knowledge. So wise person put up or shut up, show me your doctorates and credentials and show me where it says you know it all and when your bones turn into dust, you were so afraid of crossing a line that you lived in fear of or so stupid to think your God was in your own hands..
