I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21.7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

No one actually got the sarcasm in yr question..and most condemned you instead of condemning the source you quoted !!

Self-hypnotism or Brain-washing ???

And pray tell why would you sell her into slavery? Do you not know that indebtedness is a form of slavery so she may well already be enslaved? Thank you Nicola Tesla for the freedom you have given us. You made it so no one needs to be enslaved.

Nicola is the father of the modern electrical grid. He has done more for humanity than Abraham, Moses, Christ, and Mohammed combined. Nicola was also a martyr for the human race, since he died penniless. Henry Goodyear also suffered martyrdom for us.

You are a little out of date buddy, slavery was abolished in most countries a long time ago. There are laws for what you are suggesting, and with a parent like you, since the apple falls close to the tree, she is probably worthless.

funny how people on here are too stupid to realize the sarcasm in this question and also that it merely illustrates the point of hypocrisies in the bible and people being selective as to which passage to quote to defend a belief (e.g homosexuality supposedly being a sin) but as the asker points out..if you want to literally use the bible as your source for morality, then you have to use the entire thing not just whatever passage you feel fits your beliefs ( it does say you can sell your daughter into slavery) ...lighten up people this question is for laughs obviously anyway...i'll give you 50p for her :P

Obviously you are joking (and that's assuming you have a daughter) - but the answer to your question would that there is no 'fair price' because she is your daughter. And, in any case, don't take any notice of what you read in mythological literature!

It never ceases to amaze me that people still bite at questions like this.

Exposing ridiculous hypocrisies and outdated ideas in the 'book of god' is a brilliant pastime - great question, keep it up!

Although you maybe intended this question to be amusing - you should stop to think of the couples out there who long for children and are unable to have any.

You tw@t.

Yeah, you want me to think coz you dont have any brain.

Here's a bigger brain for you, I'll take your daughter, I can rear her in a nice way and have her educated not like her father.
