I’m sick of Darwinist followers who thinks we came from apes or who thinks we’re a distant cousin of apes. They’ll argue that there is only 1% gap between the human genes and monkeys, but that’s just what nature is; “The 1% difference!” It still does not make us one of them even if there was a sliver of difference. If humans coming from apes were true by evolution due to the survival of the species, then why are there still apes around? Dogs are said to have come from wolves and can be crossbred, it goes the same with a Zebra and a horse, a rat and a mouse and as sick as it sounds, if we humans did come from apes, why don’t we just cross breed human with monkeys to find out once a for all? I honestly believe it’s not possible though because it is just proof that we’re not related to apes or monkeys. What’s your opinion?

And I'm sick of brain dead creationists posting multiple copies of the same crap on this site.

What's the matter, can see you are losing the argument in your other thread so will keep on making new ones until you get the answer you want.

That's how you lot normally work.

Throw out all physical PROOF and just make up your own stories

"If humans coming from apes were true by evolution due to the survival of the species, then why are there still apes around?" According to the evolution theory, humans and monkeys developed from a common ancestor. That ancestor no longer exists, but both us and monkey are believed to have descended from the same ancestor and we are different because we developed in different ways to adjust to our environment.

I'm sick of Creationists too, claiming their God created us from dirt (should I use your own style of arguing and ask why there is still dirt?) even though there is nothing that supports that theory other than words written in an old book. But you know what? I just live and let live. Believe what you want and I'll believe in what I want. All the arguing about the evolution and the creation will get us nowhere because creationists will never accept scientific proof and evolutions will never accept theocratic proof, so what's the point?

Humans did not evolve from modern apes.

"why don’t we just cross breed human with monkeys to find out once a for all?"

Nobody said that humans and apes are the same species. You should study speciation.

Humans did not descend from apes. We had a common ancestor.

Ever heard of different ecological niches? We diverged from a common ancestor when some of those common ancestors ventured into places with more open grasslands, savannahs. This required them to walk upright to look over the tall grasses. Those that evolved into apes did so because they stayed in the jungles and thus did not need to change in that way.

And monkeys are not apes. Get your facts straight. In any case, even such a small difference can prevent crossbreeding. Sure, we're cousins with apes, but we've had millions of years to evolve after that split from a common ancestor. We aren't the same species.

Edit:
To AJ:
Apes and humans are different species. You said that you'd read the answers; well you obviously did not read mine. Given that we're different species, we obviously cannot produce fertile offspring (let alone offspring) Also, keep in mind that humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes. Apes have 24 pairs. When you think of 1%, you have to think of it in terms of thousands of genes. That can be quite a large difference.

I have read some answers here. Isn't it interesting that to date but not spoken of you can take the sperm of a man and inseminate an ape/ gorilla or chimp in heat and it will not get pregnant and if it does it aborts every time, something people do not think of. Scientists can create a lamb from a cell and clone but no one can take a primate that is to be so close in genetics to humans and deliver a mixed species. I ask this, why not? Is it that a creator was so intelligent that He wanted his creation to stand. Is it not written, after His image? As to one answer above about we coming from dirt. Take dirt and look under the microscope of all the elements and organisms in it. Scientists looking on Mars take soil samples to see if it contains the properties to produce life, so I don't understand your thinking, the basics of life on Earth comes from the soil, but I guess in your thinking, you are above that. If you can take a horse and breed it with a zebra and produce a new animal, then surely you can take an ape and mate with a man to create a new, after all it's just 1% difference, right?..
