Ok there is this girl that I like and really care about. I haven't seen or spoken to her in a while. I really want to hear from her but I'm scared to make contact even I shouldn't be right. I recently responded kinda aggressively to a couple of guys. One feels all Australian women are horrible (he used another word) and the other feels that American men have the right to have a superiority complex and that includes the right to take advantage of women. I got a slap on the wrist because I called them idiots.
What are your thoughts and how can we gently educate men like this on the respect we have for ourselves.
By the way, I'm not a passionate feminist, I'm actually pretty traditional in a lot of things to do with marriage and stuff so it's not about women being better (just in case any guys sneak-a-peek at this). It's about respect.

Firstly...I'm not interesting if you think this is all rubbish, etc. etc. It's enuf I've felt the need to preface my question with this: just get ur kicks taking the piss out of smurfs or something.

My question is... if Jesus is/was/always will be a full, indivisible member of the Trine God, wouldn't that mean the Trinity also died? Or was Christ 'not-present' for three days? Is there any official answer protestants/catholics have? personal beliefs?

Jews. Palestinians. Israelis. Holocaust.Diary of Anne Frank. Hitler. Nazi Germany. concentration camps....and on and on and on and I am forever hearing about the Jewish people:
"Never Again",they say over and over again.
allright. So you don't want it to happen again. But I have enough problems of my own. I don't want it to happen again either, and I doubt it will. But I am tired of it. I am tired of everyday reminders.. Whites, Catholics, Blacks, Irish....have all had problems...
as have countless other groups. ALL underwent their own personal experiences of the "Holocaust"
Soon I'll be immune to any talk of the Holocaust.

I'm going to Disney World in about 2 weeks and will be attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I'm 26 years old, and love both Disney AND Halloween. My 2 cousins will be there as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. I've been thinking of going as Jane Darling, but the only ideas I have for the costume is a Granny night gown from WalMart. Any other ideas?

Religion is bad for the world. So many wars are fought because 2 groups of people don't have the same religious beliefs. Look at the middle east. If the Muslims believed what the Jews believed or vice versa, there'd be no problem. They'd all get along. The sad thing is that each belief system is equally made up. We have people blowing themselves up over imaginary gods. Even WW2's genocide of the Jews is a result of religion. Antisemitism was a result of the Jews not believing in Jesus. Although Hitler was himself not religious, his hatred of Jews came from Christianity.

If we would all just stop clinging to these religious myths and accept science as the only way to truth, the world would be a much better place.
