This is a strange but true story and I really need some professional input, not smart remarks please. I have been conducting some studies with my nephew for a school project about Halloween and such. We decided it would be cool to take a small (expensive) tape recorder to the cemetery and turn it on for awhile to see what happened. Last week was during the day and it stopped within 10 minutes of recording. I changed the batteries and put new tape in last night and left at dusk to pick up this morn. This morning when we returned, the tape was still recording and this is only a 60 minute tape ( we were gone 13 hours) and also, it only taped the first half hour we were gone and restarted again this morning about 45 minutes before we came back. Why is this not letting us record there or is it someone protecting us from something. I do not want to continue experiment if not safe. And what is making the recorder stop. We covered with leaves and when it stopped we heard no leaves being mov

There are many clues in the Old Testament that foreshadow what would later take place in the New Testament. This is called Typology. In the OT, there are types. In the NT, there are anti-types. The type is always inferior to the anti-type because the type is only a shadow or an imperfect picture of the anti-type. It's kind of like having a negative picture in black and white and transforming it into full color.

One example of many is Abraham taking his only son, Isaac, to sacrifice him.

Old Testament

previously I asked where the socks go that we know we put into the washer but never show up. I also sited that if we can not determine where this massive number of sox go then why is it difficult for atheists to accept there there is indeed something supernatural going on and one of those might be God or in my world is God. Not that I don't know but that it is an unknown to others whom I try to communicate with about Him.

Basically my question is then if there are missing socks and we can not explain that then how big a jump is it to assume that there might be a higher power.

Proposed answers incuded the dryer did it, the washing machine does it, there is a higher power that eats socks and my favorite yet still wrong down the drain.

I went out with a few friends today, and I all but got mowed down at a buffet by a family who acted like this was their last meal on Earth, and this was the only joint serving it. The mother cut me in line, twice...didn't say excuse me, and her daughter (about 8-9) was just as rude following suit. I just stood back and let tem go because to me it was not even that serious. The place had enough food to feed an Army. They saw I had my baby with me in her pack too, you think they'd have some respect, but they kept brushing up against her and smooshing her little feet and legs with no regard or apologies.

Why are people this way? I am always polite in public. I help old people in the motorized carts at the store reach items up high or down low. I open doors for anyone behind me. I let the elderly go before me in any line, wherever I am unless I am really pressed for time. I go out of my way to help pregnant ladies if they are getting heavy items.

What the hell is wrong with people?

My friend and I would like to start a GSA or gay straight alliance, the only problem is that we have a homophobic principal that is threatening any teacher who helps sponsor with losing their Job if they try to take it anywhere.
