Yet this does not mean that these texts do not use mythic language extensively. Please explain the way space and time is used in the different myths. Please specifically speak about the different ways time is presented in the Judeo-Christian myths versus the Hindu myth.

I celebrate. I love Halloween. It's the only time of year that I actually have some fun. So I got out the Halloween stuff today & put on a pink feather boa, a clown wig, white gloves with fake blood, a tiara & a red heart ring. My step-mom said it was funny & laughed her butt off, which is what I was going for, but my dad told me that I was acting like I was 3. Okay, so my question is: Is that just a guy thing or is he right? I mean I was just having a little bit of fun.

When people argue ethics or morality, they often try to prove some actions "evil" or "bad," while asserting other actions are "good." (For example, Mark Foley's text messages are "bad." Jimmy Carter's efforts supporting Democracy are "good.")

Doesn't this distance us from the actual results of the action and promote black-or-white thinking?

Wouldn't we have a more intelligent conversation if we said an action was "Helpful" or "Harmful," and then were able to articulate what caused us to say so?

The Bible is Blasphemous toward the continuence of intellectual human life-if it were the only book we lived by we woulda died of disease a long time ago-it has one major flaw that is easily proved wrong-THE WORD OF GOD-spoken through MEN-who claim to have been spoken to by God-How many of these men would be thrown in a luny bin if they said the same thing today? I keep hearing about facts and truths--especially when it comes to evolution--since we did not witness how the human race came into this world, and there's no written record, evolution is techinically a belief-a popular, yet unproven and gap ridden belief. When it comes to all facts and truths, they are just things that a majority of people on this planet believe. Think about it--how do you, as a person actually KNOW that the sun doesn't revolve around the earth? because you saw it on television? I watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch a few hours ago does that make it real? Read it in a science book? That is still just a book, like the bible--unless you have actually exited the earths atmosphere, you are just believing what you want to believe-- There are as many illiterate science types on here as there are Xians, so why do you think you're so smart again?

Thanks to all the prayers and thoughts. I am happy to report the operation was successful. As of tonight he is still in ICU, but his condition is stable. They will be starting to wake him up tomorrow, and begin removing his respirator. As a matter of fact, before I left the hospital tonight he started to take his first breaths on his own. Again thanks to all for your prayers and thoughts. The power of prayer is a wonderful and glorious thing!

Last night i was like ok we're going out soon and he was like no, i'm gonna go out with some guy friends. But the thing is, he doesnt have any guy friends cause i never seen him with any and he doesnt have any of them on his list on his cellphone when i looked through it.
