As the Barenaked Ladies once sang... "(woo hoo hoo) It's all been done (woo hoo hoo). It's all been done (woo hoo hoo). It's all been dooooooooone befoooooooore."

Everyone who asks that question does not know what Evolution is. Anyone with a rudimentary grasp of Evolution would realise how dumb the question is. Speciation (1 species becoming 2) happens when some of the organisms of the species are separated from the others. Like if a few individuals go onto an island. The different environment causes them to change differently than the ones on the original land. Thus, over time you get 2 species that can no longer mate with each other. Just as a hypothetical situation, let's say that human ancestors were the ones who went to the island and the monkey ancestors stayed on the mainland. There would still be monkeys. This is not how humans evolved, but this is how many species do evolve.

The way you asked the question might be original. But not the question. I have seen this question so many times i feel like killing all monkeys...(j/k) But Seriously. Find something else to question. Something original perhaps?

Man didn't come from monkeys.

Humans and apes share a common ancestor that no longer exists because it evolved into what is now most of the primate family.
