you can meet people any place, they will be the same. Do you think a single bar is more respectable? or a night club? the question is, where do you meet people? at work, but no hanky-panky there, friends of friends, but your friends do not have thousands of new ones, and at meeting places, bars, etc.....
well, then rather the net. At least you will not end up having one night stands you will regret later on. Just be careful, and get to know the people you are interested in. They invented something called a telephone, which works nicely to get to know people better.

No mattert how and where you meet that person, it doesnt really matter. What matter most is the honesty.

You can even meet a dishonest person next to u in the bus..or even in the groceries. It is very subjective. For me, to meet someone online and to build relationship together is really depends on both.

However, it is better to be cautious...anytime anywhere..

Thing is---with this thing--the internet--watch word--extreme caution and very very careful and slow
There are successful conclusions---there are just as many disasters !!!
There are the possibilities--but isn't that true with one's chances in the actual every day world outside, also ???
The thing in here is the rampant insanity of the virtual existence and the thousands that come aboard saying they are this and that when what they actually are is anything BUT this and that !!!
Go Slow in this place it is ridlled with sharks and monsters !!!

Depends on how you meet. My sister found her current boyfriend online. They're moving in together this week. I don't see how it wouldn't be respectable, unless you met in a sleazy sex chatroom. I think people (if they're honest) have a better chance of meeting their soulmate online, if they don't get out much.

It is always nice to meet people, but the real question is : Is it safe ? Are the people that you are talking to really who they say that they are ? You don't know who to trust these days and it's not so much respectability , it caution.

A family member of mine is moving in with a man she met online. They've been together for quite a while. A family friend was with a man she met online for a few years. They even had a kid together. I guess it works for some people.
