a MASQUERADE BALL!!!! (halloween themed)on a small scale: make it semi-formal with nice dresses (glittery, if possible) and suits; Masks with feathers, beads, etc.; decorate your kitchen & living area with lots of shiny things hanging from ceilings; get a fog machine and create an enchanted, midieval-style ball; pick a song to reveal your identities and dance the night away!!! you're turning 13... have a BALL!!!!

A suggestion:
Have your parents plan out a treasure hunt or scavenger hunt, so you can run around like nuts for awhile and find goodies at the end. Then, maybe play flashlight tag, serve a nice dinner, and play Apples to Apples.
Have a few friends spend the night after everyone else goes home.
