Mythologically speaking, a vampire is a lifeless corpse, reanimated to homicide the residing. Vampires do no longer exist. If considered one of those component have been to attack somebody with HIV/AIDS, the virus does not stay extra effective than 24 hours interior the vampire's "device" because of the fact a vampire has no physique warmth to take care of the virus. The virus can not reflect interior of a lifeless physique, and could do no longer something to a "vampire". If the vampire fed from somebody else afterwards, and nonetheless had the contaminated blood of their mouth, even hint quantities, they could infect the 2nd sufferer (assuming that guy or woman lived by using the attack.)

Dead blood lacks the life force of the living and is as poison to a vampire. Only the blood of the living can satisfy the hunger.

Depends on the vampire, really. Some choose just not to drink blood at all but consume energy instead.

According to Anne Rice...
A vampire will become sick if he drinks dead blood. I believe they called it "being taken in with the victim".

Only if he is really hungry, or if he is a very ethical vampire who doesn't believe in killing. Then he can be full, but not have to hurt living people to satisfy his vampiric needs. Kind of like those vegans who only eat fruit that naturally falls from the tree.....
